The humble spaghetti is my favorite.

Now let me tell you about my most HATED pasta. The fucking bowtie. The center core takes 30 minutes to fully cook (while the rest gets overcooked), and this shit pasta is impossible to catch with a fork, and it slips off from spoons.

They also can't catch any sauce so they're bland. Fuck them

oh really? when I boil them they usually cook all trough, and when I want them to be a little al dente then of course i will undercook, but I've never cooked pasta for more than maybe 10, 15 minutes, 30 to me sounds like too much.

spaghetti is alright, I would say the most universal type

I use bowties mostly in salads, since they fit them perfectly, they aren't fully coated in a sauce and they don't slip up that much, I used them once in marinara and it wasn't that good, should have went with other shape.

My favourite too, any flat long will do. I don't actually like spaghetti and other long tubes.

Penne is my favourite for fast cooking with a simple sauce.

The bowtie ones are indeed nice to look at but annoying to eat.
I use spirelli for macaroni cheese (and ham/bacon) despite it not being macaroni at all.
Conchielli are cute.
I had some ear type and those are nice in a Broth.
I love gnocchi but technically not a pasta.
Ravioli and tortellini are easy to buy with fillings and that is comforting food to me.

Tagliatelle. It's annoying when someone serves you Bolognese that doesn't come with Tagliatelle. Spaghetti is obviously as retarded as it gets, 99% of the time it isn't mixed with the sauce either so you know that you're dealing with a halfwit before you even try the food.

Ironically I hate saying I hate penne pasta because I actually love cock.
But that fucking shape is so miserable to bite into and I dont know why.
