That looks like a dickhead
>>
>>21682689
anon, you should go to the doctor
>>
I work in a butcher shop and have no fucking idea how I'm supposed to tray this shit. Am I supposed to leave the weird Frankenstein stiching ligaments or whatever in, or cut them off? Should I dress it nicely like a steak? Cut the fat off or leave it? No one else knows either, and the (presumably asian) people who buy it buy it no matter how I tray it.
>>
>>21682700
ive actually never seen organs (besides liver) on display and where im from you have to ask the butcher for things like heart beforehand
>>
>>21682700
Why don't you ask you boss, dumbass?

Anyway, I think it'll look better if you trim the arteries, but if it's gonna take to much of your time, not bother.

>>
>>21682700
you cut it in quarters and remove the valves and connective tissues. that's it.
>>
>>21682700
Where I live you can only find them whole and frozen

I wasn't a fan of Captain Beefheart, though. Any relation?
>>
>>21682689
So do you.
>>
What the fuck do you even do with that thing?
>>
>>21682680
it's a really fast & bulbous dish
>>
>>21682680
Cheap and tastes ok but a pain in the ass to trim.
>>21682700
You have to cut out all the arteries. It's a giant timewaste. Just leave it out untrimmed honestly.

I remember an episode of the tv show 1000 Ways to Die where a guy attaches electrical wires to a cow heart to use it as a sex toy. At first he tries with a car battery but he can't feel anything. So he connects it to a wall socket and he electrocutes himself

nah but you probably wouldn't like Howlin Wolf then either

>Beef heart is really good
Just looking at this thread I can guarantee that 0% of Americans have ever eaten it.
>>
>>21682731
they hired you because it's an ok job with shit pay and having a degree means you might not be retarded, which gives you a leg up on anyone else who might work at a butcher shop not owned by their family
>>
>>21683103
Fill it with gravy and reenact the autopsy scene from Jason Goes to Hell.
