my turn to post sear, so I was always getting a shitty kind of sear, meaning very uneven with big uncooked spots, etc.I checked /ck/ and asked the anons getting an excellent sear, what was the trick, simple a tiny layer of oil/butter, that's it, the other part is pressing down the meat with the fork to reduce the uncookedness on the uncooked spots, here are the results, no cross cut shot, but it was kind ok inside nicely raw but without that nice gradient I tend to likeno cut shot because I didn't think about taking one, but this is for sure my best sear, not my best inside but the sear looked amazing
