It is the ONLY thing in that entire list where I preferred it on a rock instead of neat because the cold lended nicely to the barley sweetness. It grew on me and it’s so cheap it’s not a “waste” of money but ultimately I’ll probably just stick with bulleit rye cause MGP is based and bulleit is one of the cheapest and readily available ways to get itsomeone in the last thread claimed bulleit stopped sourcing their rye but I couldn’t find any information on that as far as I can tell it’s still MGP
>>21683665If you want a rye that's a bit more pricey but excellent look for Sagamore's stuff. They used to be MGP but recently started using their own distillate. Michter's Rye is my other go-to for under $60 ryes, absolutely delicious

Now that I’ve settled down and found what I like I just have a massive backlog of legit 50-60 opened bottles that looms over my head cause I’d rather drink the nicer stuff than slog through all that $20 bourbon. Also some were gifts or stocking up from sales (that list is only the opened bottles)Anyway just cracked a new russells reserve 10 (got like 10% left of the heaven hill BiB that it will be replacing)While I’m aware it’s not good to have all that shit oxidizing all at once it’s quite nice to have free access to quite literally whatever the fuck I’m in the mood for. Still trying to cull it down to a more reasonable 30 or so lol
