>rice>chicken>sauce (varying types)
For dinner tonight I bought $3.50 of chicken thighs (about 1.2 lbs), two bags of frozen PictSweet summer vegetables (20oz total), and about half a cup of wild rice. Cooked the chicken in a pan with lid, the. Vegetables in same pan. Com ined with rice once done. Total was about $10 but it should be about three meals and is easily two.
Forgot I seasoned with some dried Italian herb blend and grated garlic.Otherwise I tend to make a lot of salmon with potatoes and a green vegetable
>>21683732Gross. Why don't you try learning to actually cook? You're going to soon be fat.
For me, it is:>stick a chicken breast in the air fryer, optionally slice it and add your choice of some cream cheese/cheese/onion/bacon/capsicum/whatever>put two sausages in the air fryer. Eat with bread.>bake something sweet so I can take it in to work because I have no friends to share it with except all the nice mommies at workI miss my friends, bros. I miss drinking. I miss my dog. I miss when I could enjoy my life.

>>21683754>in the air fryerStopped reading there. Fuck off you lazy piece of shit. Learn to actually cook.
>>21683732I don't like making complex things because I am a shit cook and an autist with motor issues, so I'm often lazy and just eat a lot of sandwiches/chips things like that and they're better for gayman anyway. I buy a lot of those premade sandwich filling containers from the supermarket and then buy things to add to it to make it better or just different, examples.>Egg saladI added dijon mustard, little crushed garlic and onion powder, parsley, thyme, red onion, S & P>Tuna saladI added green onion, crushed garlic, onion powder, parsley, coriander, chilli flakes, lemon juice, olive oil, S & P.Shit's good yo, I put greens in there and eat chips and chopped fruit with it like an elementary kid, I could learn to cook more things but I like sameness and generally hate cooking because I have no fine control and tire easy. I make homemade pizza sometimes, that's my limit and it takes me all day to make it all from scratch so I have to have nothing going on.Anyway OP learn to use herbs, spices, and what goes with things then you can eat the same food often and have it be different to break the monotony if you like easy things, which I'm guessing you do.>>21683769my man the op listed a peanut butter sandwich as a meal tf did you expect to see in here lol
>>21683732I guess I count as single and lonely but I am content being single Anyway I am cooking one of these.

I'm trying to integrate more grilled chicken, asian marinades are really good but sometimes I'm too lazy to make them.I also have frozen chicken for when I don't have something ready.
Being lonely doesn't mean you can't cook.
>>21684283You’d be surprised what depression can to do one’s functionality
>>21683732add any of the quick proteins that you keep around, like OPs pic or frozen shrimp, even caned chickenadded to pic relatedI'm lazy but plan ahead, buy a $20 pork loin, cut into 18 chops, freeze on a single layer. I don't even need a side sometimes or toss it in a rice a roni mixalso make queso dip (velveeta, salsa) which can then make a quesadilla or nachos, tacos, or just be a topper with your favortie frozen airfried protein, just add some southwest seasoning

>>21683732>Single lonely guy mealsrelationship status has no bearing on what you cook and thinking it does is the most homosexual cope there is.
>>21683844>gets told air fryer is dogshit>some how associates and equates this to bodythis is why the air fryer crowd needs to be institutionalized, you're literally all stupid.
>>21684447most people who swear by air fryers douse their foods in oil
>>21684911homie, the point of air fryers is that you do not need to do that.
>>21684911It's literally the opposite.
>>21683732>frozen chicken tenders (raw)this really goes for anything you can find. chicken tenders that are precooked are shit. but if you can find pre-breaded ones that are raw, if you deep fry those bad boys they taste just like any tendie you might get out at a restaurant and for 1/4 the price
>>21683732burrito bowl with ground beef, tv dinner, one bullet
A bullet to the head is a good lonely guy meal
>>21683732Cooking for yourself and no one else is the best part about being single and lonely you turd sandwich. You should try yellow asparagus on cold srambled/boiled egg with parsley. The only cooking you have to do is scramble or boil the egg.>>21683751I really like watching shows about fat people like supersize vs super skinny and secret eaters or the one show that was like Made but about fat teenagers losing weight during summer vacation. Anyways, does anyone have any nice recommendations?
>>21684443>relationship status has no bearing on what you cookLet me bust out the Sunday dinner, 10 servings all for myself. I better like pot roast because its all im eating this week.
>>21683732I am being completely serious when I say this... Use this "single lonely guy" time to actually learn to cook. I don't mean learn to cook a dish or two, I mean learn to cook. Learn fundamentals and techniques. Fuck up repeatedly and end up with barely edible shit that only you have to choke down. Do stupid shit like make sauces from scratch for your frozen tendies. Then once you can make sauces, then make your own tendies. Before you know it, you'll be able to kick out an entire dinner with a handful of ingredients that you forgot you even had in the freezer or cupboard. Here's the best part though... Other than a 7 figure salary, there is little else that is more of a panty peeler than cranking out a fresh dinner from scratch while she watches from the sideline. Especially once you get confident enough that you can bullshit with her as you're cooking with no recipe in sight because you just know what you're doing. >t. she told me when she said "Yes" that me knowing how to cook was a factor
My local grocery store for some reason always overorders andouille sausage from Hillshire Farm and so they're cheap as shit. I'll buy some of them and pouches of red beans and rice. Chop it up and microwave both. Then I add a little hot sauce and eat with a plastic fork.
>>21685175>muh pussyyou was doing so well until then
>>21685771And it ended with an accepted marriage proposal. Problem?
>>21683732>factor meals>banquet meals>ham sandwich
>>21685175>Have a negroni. Have two.
>>21683732You can slice up the tenders, toss them with buffalo sauce, and then put it on some lettuce w/ ranch so you can pretend you're healthy and having a "salad".You can also put some mozzarella on them, throw them under the broiler until it melts, and dip them in marinara for a lazy chicken parm finger food.
frozen pizzabeans and corn pasta with sauce lettuce and vinaigrette I don't really eat much else desu
>>21685175I know how to cook I just can't be bothered dumb longhoused faggot
>>21683732when I was single I didn't eat anything like that, I bought hamburger, and pork steaks. I would by stuff to make my own salsas. I would buy cheese, sour cream, and tortillas and make burritos. It also helped that burger king had $1 whoppers. can't beat that.If I bought any premade food from a store it wasn't for long, because most of it was shit.
>>21685954This is the crux of the issue. Im not going to spend an hour cooking eating and doing dishes for just myself. It takes even longer for fancy meals. Its just not worth it.
>>21683732>tomato soup and frozen breadsticks>>frozen chicken tenders (raw)>>peanut butter sandwichStop being sad and get to some real cooking, boy!
>>21683840These are tasty, I put some pepper and garlic salt and ya gotta have the ranch to dip
