You ever think about how uncommon deep fried beef is?We deep fry chicken, we deep fry turkey, we deep fry pork, but we never see deep fried beef.
?I'm from ItalyWe deepfry beef all the time.
>>21685062Chicken-fried steak is a thing in the South.Cheap cuts of thinly-cut steak are used.
>>21685076Yeah but it's breaded, no one cuts a chuck roast into cubes and fries it
>>21685101So, it's breaded beef, like chicken and pork typically are before being deep fried.I didn't think anyone cuts chicken or pork into cubes and fries it without coating, either, but wtf do I know.
>>21685068Could you give specific examples of deep fried beef dishes? Also do you eat pasta with a fork or fork and spoon?
>>21685062Actually Isn't this sort of uncommon with anything but pork and chicken?
>>21685062Country fried steak isn't that uncommon.
>>21685128Depends on the pasta. And it's just breaded beef cutlet. It doesn't have a specific name or ultra codified recipe. Most Italian dishes don't. They're just named what they are:Riso e piselli (rice and peas)Pasta e lenticchie (pasta and lentils)Fettine impanate (breaded cutlets)Fagottini di verza (cabbage rolls)Etc etc etc
'Chicharron' is very common everywhere in America but the north-most part of USA and Canada
>>21685260chicharrones are pork dipshit
>>21685266Don't google what 'Catán' is and how is cooked, you will be shocked
>>21685270
>>21685062There is something called chicken fried steak and also schnitzel
>>21685062szechuan crispy spicy beef is the best chinese food they've ever invented and only one restaurant i've ever been to has served iti tried making it once but it had no flavor
>>21685274Gottem... Chicharrón de Catán is just deepfried Alligator Garpike fish>Deepfrying and 'Chicharrones de Res' (beef) are very common in the north of México, I don't know for sure if all of Latin America but i know for fact that it is in the Caribbean and Chile/Argentina/Brazil they like frying their cuts once in a while
>>21685076>>21685144>>21685278Shallow fried in a skillet not deep fried
>>21685316Chicken-fried steak is often deep-fried.But yes, it's also common to pan-fry.
>>21685420Especially if done from frozen like a Sysco-supplied restaurant.
>>21685062You need a really thick steak to give it enough time to get a good sear. Pan frying is faster, easier, and better. I've tried deep frying steaks before.
veal parmigiana sandwiches. fried veal, tomato sauce, peppers, onions, hot peppers. if you've had a good one it doesn't get much better than that in the sandwich world.
>>21685062For good reason. Beef fat is the most flavorful and complex of those common meats. So that not only wastes it but contaminates the oil. It's also marbled and doesn't benefit from frying methods. Fried turkey and pork aren't all that common either really. Some Chinese food they do sweet and sour pork I guess. I'd NEVER put a ribeye in the deep fryer. That's idiotic. All the juices gone. The person who did that "experiment" doesn't understand the basics or purpose of deep frying at all. Just look at all the exposed fat on that steak.
>>21685241t. fagottini
>>21685128>>21685241We also have breaded, fried beef meatballs, served with no tomato sauce. Perfect to accompany a glass of wine or a beer before dinner.
>>21685062Frying is for cheap food you don't ruin a good cut with frying you morons.
>>21687308What was the last "good cut" you deep fried?
> We deep fry chicken, we deep fry turkey, we deep fry pork, I have never done nor seen any of the above IRL. I only know it from murifats online
>>21687334Are you even paying attention? You don't deep fry any of them.
>>21685101>no one cuts a chuck roast into cubes and fries itthose exist and are called Idaho Finger Steaks
