Personally, spaghetti is my go to dish for ultimate happiness. I eat it by the pound literally. >1lb of pasta>2lbs of sauce>1lb of Italian sausage>tons of green can powdered Parmesan cheeseand I consume all of that in one sittingIf I have it on hand I eat it with buttered bread too. I have been on a diet for the last two months and have lost a good bit of weight, but I am feeling bummed out today, so I am really itching to make some spaghetti to cheer myself up.
>>21687569When I'm sad I like to bake some chicken breaded strips and make some burrito with them. I add lettuce and pickles and some ceasar salad sauce oh and bacon. yummers :3
Basically anything that my mother cooks, she's a great home cook. But above all either her pork stew with buckwheat groats and some shredded pickled beetroot as a side, or the traditional silesian dinner: beef roulade filled with cured meats and veg, potato noodles called "kluski", gravy and shredded pickled red cabbage as a side. As a little kid I used to always help her by making the holes in the noodles.
I like my cookie dough tube
A big salad sandwich always cheers me up. Sometimes with cheese.I pile it high like a Scooby Doo sandwich.Lots of tomato, cucumber, peppers, beets, carrot, cress, pickles, sprouts, pineapple, onion... The more variety the better.I think my body craves vegetables when I'm feeling down. Eating a big salad sandwich makes me feel lighter and more energeticKewpie mayo is preferred
>>21687660That looks delicious and I dont even like beets
>>21687569Pickled Fish in a bun with raw onions and dill pickles, with a tiny bit of mayo
>>21687659Nasty. Raw eggs and flour? I'll never understand. Bake it into cookies like a normal person with patience and taste.
>>21687569>/ck/ is such an angry place sometimes. Lets talk about foods that make you happyi make any soup to cheer me up. chopping/preparing everything then the warmth of cooking it. feels good man.
>>21687783cute I’d love to eat a bowl of your soup
garlic spicy chicken from midori teriyaki in seattle
>>21687741>/ck/ is such an angry place sometimes. You realize OP is talking about you, right?Your post a relatively mild example but still needlessly negative and critical.
>>21687820I don’t even think people care nearly as much as their unpleasant posts here would make you think. I appreciate the niceposters for not devolving into a caveman with unresolved emotional problems
>>21687820I'd argue that going out of your way to post barf-inducing foods is trolling and deserves to be called out.You can shit sunshine all over everything and make little emoji smiley faces and pretend you're cheerful and optimistic, but we're fighting a battle here, and not everyone is worthy. You're seeing "anger" where there is none. You're seeing negativity where there is none. To suggest someone is eating something gross and that it isn't normal does not make this an "angry place", Pollyanna.
I truly love ground bologna sandwich spread. My grandma’s was the best but a local grocery store makes its and it’s pretty decent.
>>21687864>going out of your way to post barf-inducing foods is trollingsometimes executed hilariously
>>21687569>I eat 4+ pounds of pasta in one sitting>I have been on a diet for the last two monthslollmao
>>21687902how much is the meal OP is describing really? I can’t visualize it
>>21687569some people dont like to admit it but classic bean beef and tomato sauce chili con carne is excellent on spaghetti
>>21687923We call that Chili Mac where I am from. Good stuff.
>>21687908Ever had a big "quarter pounder" hamburger? Imagine 16 of those patties.
>>21687864>PollyannaYou just undermined your whole post.Resorting to name-calling is weak and antagonistic.
>>21687569>foods that make you happythere! this makes me happy. now fuck you.
>>21687569You should try layering your pasta and using additional sauces.
>>21687569we ate almost nothing but spaghetti when I was a kid and we were poor. I fucking hate it and it angers me. thanks for digging up that old memory. ASSHOLE!
>>21687660that looks depressing, and sad. who molested you anon?
>>21687660i like doing this too. lots of mayo is good with it but i started to like it with hummus or tzatziki sauce as well.
>>21687569comfy comfy comfy.
I love making sandwiches without using any spread or butter
>>21687569>such an angry place sometimesit's like you live in a hole somewhere and have no idea what is going on in the world now.
>>21688648what snes game is that
>>21688651Link to the Past
>>21688654why does the label look different
>>21687865My grandma used to make meat salad like that but she would use either left over ham or roast beef. I would like to try that bologna version.
>>21688645I like spaghetti because my stepmom can't cook to save her life and when it came to spaghetti there was nothing for her to screw up because the sauce was out of a jar and all she had to do was cook up some ground beef and boil the pasta. It was so much better than her usual cooking.
>>21687569lemon pepper tilapia with plain white rice and uncooked shredded cabbage is one of my favorite meals
>>21688810well my mom found a way. she would cook the spaghetti, and then make the sauce from a large envelope. it was orangeish, and had black flakes of what I suppose was olives, and that was it. a giant pot of disappointment.
Spam, eggs, and rice for breakfast. I drizzle a little coconut vinegar on the spam in the pan and on the rice as I plate it. The rice is cooked with minced garlic in it. Eggs are sunny side up. The spam gets a little sriracha on top. Just a little bit.
>>21688648>windows vista PC>cathode ray tube TVthe fuck year is this, 2004?
>>21687648>anything that my mother cooksI agree.Do you eat those flowers or...?
>>21687569have you ever tried a real bolognese? not the hilariously outdated american stuff from the 1990's
