Well, since OP provided no information I looked it up. It seems that these fruit contained a kind of chemical called a tannin (same thing which makes tea). However for these ones the tannin can become sticky and harden in the stomach making it difficult for you to shit. This is danger of eating unripened fruit. So that appears to be what thread was about, cheers.
What OP (a fag) fails to mention is that unripe persimmons are ungodly astringent, so the likelihood of you eating even a piece of one are practically ZERO.
