Is there any food you wouldn't eat strictly out of principle, even if it tasted really good?
I refuse to eat anything from china because you know it's all full of heavy metals and carcinogens. I bought a cheap can of sardines once threw it away when I got home and saw it was packed in china.
>>21688414Anything made by a jew or labeled as kosherAnything made by a pajeet or labeled as indian cuisine/delicacy >>21688421Why do we even have to tolerate food from china when pretty much all the world have access to food that is better quality and made from sources that are closer to them than whatever is from China
>>21688414I don't mind vegan food but I refuse to eat meme shit like meat replacements
>>21688414Brain is the only thing.
>>21688414I'm no vegan, but I avoid eating animals that aren't enough for even one meal. A cow can feed a family for weeks, a chicken can feed a family for a say, a fish can feed a person for a day. But a shrimp, small fry, escargot? You need to eat multiple just to fill up your stomach. It's unnecessary
>>21688414Things that are inherently more likely to be dangerous, like brains as another anon said. Indian street food for the same reason if I ever had the misfortune of traveling to that country.
>>21688449>It's unnecessaryJust like your post
>>21688580it's on topic for the thread. your post is shit though.
>>21688429because labor and the product are cheaper and shipping by those massive cargo boats is actually really efficient so the shipping doesn't add much cost to the end product as long as it can survive the trip
>>21688449This is one of the most retarded things I've read today. Do you also avoid eating grain because one grain is small?
octopus. I used to work with them and they are way smarter than they let on.
>>21688593Grains aren't aliveThe grain plant is alive, if you care about the lives of plants, but one plant can produce enough grain for at least one meal anyway
>>21688414Human meatMy catOther than that I'll eat anything
>>21688602You've now changed the metric. What is your metric for abstaining from foods and why. You dont eat a whole cow, you dont eat a whole fish as your food from the whole day etc. Your positions dont make sense either way.
>>21688680No, I haven't. OP asked where you draw the line, this is where I draw the line. If I can't even get one full meal out of an animal, I'd rather not kill it for food. Why do my principles offend (you) so much?
>>21688703Okay, so you're just going to change the goalposts again and then add pejoratives to the end of your statement. I'm sorry that you can't have a normal conversation and take a critique of your logic stream, which is clearly and obviously fallacious. Have a good day, man.
>>21688706Excuse me? You literally called me retarded on the first sentence of your first reply to me, then tried to move MY goalposts to plants>>21688593
>>21688712I literally didn't because that's not even me. I am another person asking for clarity of your positions. Sorry you're so upset. Anyway have a good day, I'm done here because you can't converse coherently or rationally.
>>21688414I don't think I'd eat bugs outside of an extreme survival scenario.
>>21688414beyond meatvegan cheese/eggsgoyslop adjacents. its telling when they have to trick people into buying them by putting the vegan text in as small print as possible, or naming them things like “just egg.” the gov really should ban these products from calling themselves meat or cheese or whatever, or force them to stamp IMITATION on the packaging in giant red print
