>Tastes like absolutely nothing in your path
>>2169125610 bucks a kg
>>21691256but throwing around the term dragon fruit is cool when telling people about your food
>>21691265>cool name>looks like something from an alien planetoh boy i bet this is going to be amazing>just the seedy texture of a kiwi where somebody at the factory forgot to put in the kiwi flavoringyou only get to fool me like this ONE time
I like it
>>21691256They're delicious when fresh. You've only had ones that were picked before they were ripe and spent weeks being shipped near you
>>21691256its almost exactly like a kiwi, but not as good
>>21691256The thing is, they're extremely cheap in southeast asia where they actually grow so it doesn't bother people that they taste like juicy refreshing nothing.
>>21691256theyre good in smoothies
I like how it looks like Willy Wonker grew it and it tastes like barely tolerable nothingness.
>>21691256i like the subtle taste. Id eat them all the time if they werent stupid expensive
>>21691256>t. tastelet
Aren't the white ones better
>>21692391the white ones with a yellow outside are pretty good. the purple ones are good too. they're a bit milder than other fruits but if you actually wait for them to ripen they're tasty.the one that's reddish outside and white inside is the mildest, but even that's fine if you actually let it ripen too, it's refreshing. it's just expensive for what it is.
>>21691256The ripe ones are really good, like strawberry without the sourness or grassy aftertaste
