No, just a white person exceptionally bored about talking about melanin levels. It might be a foreign concept to someone of your low level IQ. It's fucking boring and I don't know why so many are obsessed with it.

I know a person is a moron when they place an order by saying "Can I get____"? It's most off putting when a well educated person with a high paying job places orders like a fifteen year old urban youth.
>>
>NOOOOO YOU CANT SAY UHHHH AT THE DRIVE THRU YOU HAVW TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOURE GOING TO ORDER BEFORE YOU PULL UP OR I WILL MAKE FUN OF YOU ONLINE AND ACT LIKE I AM SUPERIOR TO YOU EVEN THOUGH I MAKE MINIMUM WAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>
I always start my drive through orders with "uhhhhhhhh" even when I know exactly what I'm going to order.
>>
>>21695023
Canigetta buncha extra napkins with that? Please.

>>
>>21695023
>>21695154
what so one say? if "can I get" and "let me get" are off the table?

I mean, these are things people typically say even when ordering in sit down restaurants
>>
>>21695171
No, those are the things uncouth people say. "May I have ______"? is what people with manners say.
>>
>>21695023
>100% of people who order anything at a drivethrough are morons
Agreed
>>
>>21695185
There is no fucking way I am saying "May I have ___?" to a minimum wage earning teenager and/or nigger. They are beneath me. The correct thing to say is "Give me ___" or "I will have ___."
>>
>>21693698
did it never strike you as odd that the only sprite commercials all involve apehoop players and all black families?
>>
>>21695171
>what so one say?
my dear gentleman/lady, after perusing your menu I have come to the conclusion that I would prefer ____ for my meal this night

You really don't see how people interpret that, do you?

Actual animals ITT
To order, you should simply say "I'd like a ____ please."
>>
>>21695315
Not really. We didn't watch a whole lot of TV when I was growing up but I had seen the Cosby Show and The Jeffersons and there were black people on album covers and in magazines. So just black people being on TV didn't really register other than that they looked different and talked funny. The idea that a TV or print advertisement was supposed to be for one racial group and everyone else should ignore it would have sounded outlandish when I was a kid. It still sounds kind of crazy thinking back, now that we have targeted internet advertising. How's that supposed to work, all the whites close their eyes when a black family drinking sprite comes on TV? That sounds reasonable?

Maybe it's a generational thing, back then there were like 3 channels and 2 magazines that everyone watched/read, so everything had to be crammed together. If you didn't grow up with that it might be hard to put yourself in that frame of mind. When I first found out about the Subaru lesbian thing it blew my mind.

"I'm gonna do the..."
Drives me insane.

Buncha asocial zoomers in here. This always works for me, as a 40 year old girl dad with a beer belly.

>swagger into the establisment, make sure to take off some item of clothing like sunglasses or a hat
>do a lap around some tables, make eye contact with some patrons, try some small talk, crack a few jokes, remember, a smile goes a long way
>go up to the counter, never looking at the menu, give the girl a nice look up and down, then lean in real close and say suavely, how bout a number 5 with cheesy fries, cupcake? And give her a wink.
>she might be in highschool but this will make her rethink her chaste ways
>after she rings up the order and tells you the total make a joke about anything, the price, some menu item, or something random someone famous is doing, for example:
>oh man, 14.99!! I remember when it was one forty nine haha!
>man, I sure do miss their rib sticklers, you remember? Ahahaha that's gotta be before you were even a gleam in your daddies eye (wink)
>man, 14.99! I'd hate to be dating in this market, I bet even Travis Kelce has trouble taking Taylor out, haha! (wink)
>always add something to the end, gives you another shot at conversation, like, 'oh sorry honey, could I make that no pickles?'
>do another lap around the tables, you're having fun, everyone's having fun, by this time you could've made some friends or gotten some numbers
>when you order is ready, come up and be sure to inspect it right in front of the girl, forcing her to watch in anticipation, her mind trying to hide the thoughts that you've stirred inside her, squeezing her moist thighs together, sweating from hours of work, you can almost taste the smell more than anything else, wondering how well she washes her hands which handled your food, how often she scratches her sweaty ass or steamy crotch....
>make a final wisecrack to her right before you blow the joint, like
>alright sweetheart, guess I'll wrap this one up an take her home hehha (wink)
>if it wasnt for the wife, heh...
>>
>>21695023
For me, it's "I would like..."
>>
>>21695103
>the default, most common way is for le NIGG-A-DOODLE-DOOS! only my random way no one cares about is good!!!
Why are all ck threads like this?
>>
>>21695891
"May I have ____" is more polite but "I'd like ____" is acceptable.
>>
>>21696570
TOO BAD, WE DON'T HAVE THAT.
>>
>>21696964
Oh, okay. Give me a few minutes to look at the menu then please.
>>
>>21696957
I don't agree. "May I have?" indicates that they employees have a choice. They don't really. They just put out the orders.

>disputating about the grammar and etiquette of ordering a McChicken
Anon, fast food employees now get the majority of their orders from an app. You could literally just say "McChicken, hot" like you're ordering from a Star Trek replicator and get the same results (and hopefully soon, the unhygienic and unreliable human element will be removed entirely).
