The most underrated piece of the calf.
>>21693809Fuckin love bone marrow man. There's a Taiwanese place near me where you can request extra marrow in your soup if you want it even richer than usual. So good.
>>21693809supremely basedi went to this French place a few nights ago and had some roasted bone marrow. was good with some salt and toasted bread. the herbs on it were nice too. its meat butter, only for those with patrician tastes
>>21693809Underrated? It's now expensive because all the trendy restaurants buy it up and sell the dish uaing it for $24 and up.
>>21693809now it's overrated
>>21693809what do you do with this? the store near me sells disc shaped slices of bones with marrow in a pack of 3 or 4 I think. just add it to something like sauce or soup while it's simmering?
>>21693809I havent done anything but chicken. If I get a rotisserie Ill use the bones/skin/leftovers with seasoning, onion, carrot, celery and makes a delicious broth
>>21693809I really doubted that stuff. One day I said F it because there were a bunch bones for sale at the grocery store. Followed a very basic recipe from YT, baking it with some salt and garlic and was blown away. Adding that stuff to a steak instead of butter blows butter basting out of the water.
>>21694915it has to be rendered in an oven first but when it's ready, you can use it as a topping for breads and stuff. After you try it, you'll know that you want to do with it.
