>Almond milk is better than real milk for cereals.>Not a vegan/etc.What other non-milk liquids have you tried? I want to try w/ eggnog sometime.
>>21694123>Almond milk>milkalmonds ain't got no titties.
estrogenic sóymale trying to convince other people that his nut flavored water isn't shit to cope with his pathetic effeminate existence
Stop fucking lying, almond "milk" is just murky water with a slight almond aroma and NOTHING like proper milk.
>>21694123>What other non-milk liquids have you tried?Water
Milk is milk, there is no substitute.
>>21694123>What other non-milk liquids have you tried? I want to try w/ eggnog sometime.extra creamy oat milk is sex in cereal.you mean almond-nog, or just reg-nog?
>>21694250Regular nog>>21694145>>21694218>>21694224>Not "REAL" milkNot my fucking point, that's just what it's called.
>>21694303If you participate in this sham, YOU are guilty as well.
>>21694331Do you drink skim milk?
cuz you just got filtered
>>21694123Some nut milks are actually pretty tasty. But the kinds you can buy at the store are all full of garbage additives that I don't want to put in my body, and making them from scratch is a total pain in the ass.IMO the best plant milk is coconut milk, and while the store bought kind suffers from the same issues as others, it can be easy to make by mixing coconut butter or coconut milk powder with some warm water. Coconut butter is also great for adding creaminess to a soup, stew, or sauce. It can be added by itself without watering the dish down at all. It's some good stuff.
>>21694363skim milk is for frothing
>>21694331the definition of "milk" as plant liquids has existed for over 800 years
>>21694123Oat milk mogs all other fake milks
>>21694231>>21694249>>21694250>>21694303>>21694331If you love almonds so much why don’t you have sex with them!
>>21694123have you tried real milk with sliced almonds
>>21694680Don't fucking mis(You) me you old fuck
>>21694682Yes, I fucking love regular milk but I still thought the same cereal with sliced almonds was better with almond milk.
>>21694331take it up the English in the middle fucking ages autismo
>>21694123Oat tastes better but almond has better nutritional stats
Oat milk is pretty good. Almond milk is a whatever meme. Just give me some whole milk, just a splash in my coffee in the morning or with cereal btw cereal is a desert
>>21694722I counter with whole milk being a dessert. I drink way too much milk to have that much extra saturated fat in my diet
>>21694728Maybe stop drinking so much milk daily and just have it every now and then and you wont feel bad? Every now and then I get a terrible hankering for just a glass of milk. Tastes good bros
>>21694738Better yet, I carry on as usual drinking a ton of 1-2% milk with occasional whole milk as a treat
>>21694493that's coconut milk actually
>>21694123Imo almond milk is okay in the taste department, a little unpleasant in the aftertaste but nothing too major. That being said it's too thin though, which results in a very different texture and just less pleasant drinking experience. If I want a non dairy milk, my choice is oatmilk. Much better texture, a slight nutty flavor that adds to a good coffee or cereal, and no unpleasant aftertaste. If you make it yourself you have to be careful or it'll get slimy though, which ruins the experience. All that being said, I find for cereal cow milk is king still. For a coffee I'll have oatmilk a lot of the time, for cereal I prefer cow.
>>21694790No it's not.
>>21695124It is.
dairy milk is fucking gross.almond and oat milk are superior for most applications. not for making gravies or cheese sauces but anything else including cereal and oatmeal, even flavoured milks etc
>>21694123Its expensive as fuck.
>>21694765You know whole milk is like 3.25%? It's less than a teaspoon of fat difference per pint. And that's not even considering that saturated fat may not be as bad as people were lead to believe.
>>21695469jaun percent milk has like 1/3 the cholesterol of whole milk. I think cholesterol is the primary metric by which people go off whole milk rather than just a general aversion to higher
>>21695476Well yeah it has 1/3 of the fat content but you're still talking 30mg vs 10mg per cup, which is still a tiny amount. I have a hard time believing that really makes a difference. Just doesn't make much sense to me that people adapted to drinking milk but it's supposedly bad for you unless you process it. You also end up losing some nutrients that are in the fat as well. Milk fat does contain some omega 3 which is good for your heart.
