anyone started paying attention at how fast they eat?
i used to eat like someone would take my food away any moment, but now i try to eat as slow as possible for better digestion. i aim for 20-30 minutes.
there's certain enjoyment in devouring a plate, but also in taking your sweet time.

Normal masculine behavior

I am a very fast eater, and have been accused of wolfing down food and asked "how do you even enjoy it?" I do enjoy it, it's just my pace of eating, I don't even notice I am doing it.

Depends on the situation.
When the meal is with someone and/or high quality savoring food you eat it slowly, if the meal is cheap quick crap you throw together to stay alive, you eat it slowly.
I eat a philly cheesesteak faster than I eat Steak Tartar or a good Ribeye. I eat the 20 dollar burger or sandwich from the place that gets talked about in culture blogs slower than I eat fast food or 711 Slop.
I'm also more likely to eat slow if the point of the meal is a conversation. Like it seems pretty obvious.

I eat as fast as possible because I like my food to be hot.

I started paying attention after I choked and felt like I was breathing through a coffee stirrir for 20 seconds

I have always had this problem, and only catch myself after I have an empty plate and think 'damn should have enjoyed that more'

Kek. My 15 year old eats like he's in a prison, the speed and the easy he holds the utensil, along with hunching over his food. Been like that all of his life except when he was a toddler. Wtf is that about?

Horey shid, captcha?! Thank you for this. Now, I have a new way of saying nygrs on twatter.

I try to eat slower after seeing how quickly obese people shove their slop into their faces. Gotta have some savor time

Dr Kellogg taught that food should be chewed at least 40 times before swallowing for optimum digestion. He wrote a lot of great books about nutrition, and he was kind of a schizo with his theories, especially about masturbation and enemas. But his "eat slow and chew very thoroughly" idea is probably good.
I recommend reading his books

I eat fast because when I was a teen my mom would feed us after coming from school and then sent me on a ton of errands/chores immediately after, so she would hurry us up. To this day I still eat as fast and was pleasantly surprised to find out my wife's grandpa drinks as fast as I do

Grains are for peasants. Kellogg was a freemason. Milk and cereal grains are literally the exact same thing pigs are fed. Because jews correctly view us as cattle, which you are for eating that shit.
Anything besides meat and eggs and maybe potatoes for breakfast is not real breakfast.

Think it through anon... Why would the speed at you eat make you fat? You're literally eating the same amount of calories no matter what speed you eat it at.

Same here OP. I usually wolf down my food, so lately I've been trying to eat slower to enjoy it more and help with digestion.

I’ve never ever gotten brain freeze from eating ice cream but even now in my 30’s I have to consciously slow down initial eating or I scarf and swallow so fast my throat has this painful cramping episode after about 10 quick bites. Definitely started after bootcamp in my late teens but I still will forget sometimes now in my mid thirties, chew and swallow a whole bunch really quick and then it’s just this awful cramp along my throat and I have to sit out for a minute and let it pass, it even gets hard to breath. Christ I feel like an animal lol!
>>
I just pace myself if im on a date
When it comes to family or freinds its warp speed eating like normal
>>
I always eat alone so it's irrelevant.

Different anon but doesn’t it relate to satiety? Part of feeling full is due to time tasting food and not just the amount eaten (which I’d agree is irritating - why is my stomach telling me to do stuff, I own you)

>>21697444
>then it’s just this awful cramp along my throat
That does sound unpleasant

truth: it's not
>>21696300
that's true for me as I plan meals & count calories so the benefit of getting satiated mid meal from eating slower is lost , but my point was that fat fucks always seem to gorge down their food like pigs, instead of showing any restraint

I forgot about this brand of meme. That's a good one
