Chicago Italian Beef vs. Philly Cheesesteak.
>>
>>21694875
French dip
>>
that looks like a shitty cheesesteak, the cut is way too thick. that said, they're not comparable sandwiches. might as well compare the chicago sandwich to a french dip
>>
>>21694877
You don't compare sandwiches from different countries. This is a battle of American beef hoagies
>>
>>21694875
Gonna have to go with the Italian beef. The giardiniera imparts great flavors and you can always do the sausage+beef combo.

Cheesesteak is kinda one-note. Cheese.
>>
I don't think anyone in Philly even thinks of the Chicago Italian Beef, hope that answers your question.
>>
>>21694918
You can’t really do the “I don’t think about you at all” with Philly. That’s reserved for global cities, like New York.
>>
>>21694925
is that why NYC seethes over Philly for no god damn reason whatsoever?
>>
>>21694918
>I don't think anyone in Philly even thinks
Agreed
>>
>>21694927
I don’t accept your premise.
>>
philly doesn't feel balanced to me. onion + cheese + steak as delicious as you'd think it'd be ends up kind of blah. much rather have a smash burger with onions + pickles and some mustard.
>>
>>21694925
But nobody likes New York, you're cuck central. Nobody wants you in the US
>>
>>21694927
I'd be pretty pissed over Saquon Barkley going to Philly
>>
>>21694938
Wrong because even with burgers the optimal combo is beef, cheese, and onion. Pickle doesn't compliment beef, it covers it up with vinegar

Vinegar only compliments pork
>>
Chicago all the way. I've had about a million bad cheesesteaks but never had bad Italian beef.

Pennsylvania is a flyover.

I finally had a Philly cheesesteak and they sprayed Cheez-Whiz all over the meat. Disgusting.

Chicago wopbeef is dry and kinda flavorless.

Give me a nice French dip any day.

Or best of all, thinly sliced prime rib with some pepperjack melted on it, on a quality hard roll, with au jus. Wa-la.

Cheez Wiz is delicious melted and hot, but you could have just gotten provolone
>>
I had an Italian beef at the Chicago Midway airport and it was a soggy mess served by boyz n da hood. It was actually not at all that bad but just too wet/soggy of a sandwich - is this normal? you guys recommend known location
>>
>>21695744
It's literally a beef and all juice sandwich. If you hate wet food why order a sandwich that's literally juice soaked meat

There's a place near me that uses Cooper cheese for its cheesesteaks. Good stuff.
>>
>>21694875
Italian Beef and it's not even close.
>>
>>21694875
The Italian sogwich is king
>>

Which can I reliably get in any state in the union? Yeah, you already know the winner
>>
>>21694875
Chee 'eak
>>
>>21694875
Italian beef is just the best choice.
