>>21695498If you're lucky, you can find grocery store beans that are within two or three weeks of their roast date. Could be had for as low as $10/lbCalculate the roast date from the best before date. Common timeframes are 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months. Lavazza for example, sets their best before date 24 months out from roast. You can look up the stats for other major roasters. If you can't find it online, you can try asking customer support directly.

Anyone else had red bird coffee? I've ordered from them a few times now, different types and roast levels. They only seem to send out very oily, very over-roasted beans. Medium and light roasts almost cooked black. I think I'm avoiding them after this.
