I tried Steak and Shake. A burger with some variety of sauce on it, fries, and a shake. It was very good I now understand what a "steak burger" is it's not like ground steak but more of a rich tasting, salsbury steak-ish texture burger. It was more flavorful and had a better texture than normal burgers The shake had Oreo pieces

Steak N Shake is very dependent on location as far as quality. A good SnS can be one of the best fast food burgers. The one near me recently was bought out and remodeled, the owner actually cares and it shows.

The one by me used to be so good, it'd be the go to spot after a concert or otherwise late at night since they were the only 24hr sit down spot. Once covid came it basically killed the location, I'm pretty sure the dining room is closed and it's drive thru only. Last time I went I waited a half hour and they fucked up my order, a real shame
