Just had a Meatball Parm for the first time and holy fuck, any tips to spice it up a bit?
>>21695879Serious answer: get yourself some of this. It's great on Italian-type stuff, pizza, pasta, anything with tomato sauce.
>>21695879Holy fuck it was bland? What are you saying? It needs spicing up just add Tabasco.
>>21695886Note that I mean the garlic one specifically.
>>21695879make your own meatballs and fry them
There was a guy that used to work with who always had them put mayo on his meatball/chicken/eggplant parms. They gave him a weird look at the counter but I tried it and it was legitimately awesome.
>>21695879Eat the meatballs with spaghetti and toast the bread with butter and garlic
>>21695886I hate hot sauce fags so much.
>>21696038Shame, you're missing out. Garlic Tabasco is great on Italian stuff. So's the regular one, but the garlic one is harder to find.
>>21696038This. Nothing like burning the fuck outta your mouth and asshole to fit in like a normie fag, it’s pathetic.
>>21696038>>21696054Samefag
>>21696056Seething tranny trying to fit in.
>>21695879Anything you put on a pizza to spice it up
>>21695879I used to get them from an old italian guy with a sandwich shop. he would make extra large meatballs and cut them in half, which makes them moister and not slip out of the bun. add pan fried peppers, onions and mushrooms. cheese is usually provolone. if you want spice, finely chopped green chili has the best complimentary flavor.
>>21695879The secret to making anything like that good is just dumping more grated parmesan on it until it's good. It's salty, fatty, and savory.
>>21696030I've done this. It's good.
>>21696038You are a retardYour typical Tabasco/Franks/Cholula etc etc run of the mill hot sauces are normal condiments which have tons of uses.Stereotypical "hot sauce fags" are a completely different breed. To genuinely get mad at tabasco is pathetic.
>>21696586yeah sauce soyboys got triggered when I said tabasco sriracha was good
>>21695879Cut up the meatballs, add spinach, onions and peppers
>>21695879Calabrian chili peppers. Thank me later
>>21696586>To genuinely get mad at tabasco is patheticincorrect as tabasco tastes like burning tires.
>>21695886May I suggest an alternative?
>>21695879not sure how this hasnt been suggested yet but pic related all day
>>21695879so with hoagies and hot sandwiches like this every ingredient plays a partyou want a nice thick roll (not too thin because the grease, sauce, and cheese will make it a soggy mess in your hands which is undesireable) good meat blend (i personally prefer pork but a mix of beef+pork can be good, if you wanna be lazy find some sausages you like and slice the casing open to harvest the pre-seasoned pork within)a good sauce (most sauces out of the jar are pretty bland so i'd recommend seasoning it to taste. i prefer sweet+spicy so i might take tomato paste, cut it with water and sugar, grind black pepper, add hot sauce, maybe a little bit of pickle juice or just a bit of yellow mustard to add some tang to it. or steak sauce, whatever works)good cheese (im honestly not a big cheesehead but you want something that compliments the other flavor profiles well while also not muting them)t. native philadelphian where you find this shit on every corner
>>21696038I grow my own peppers and make my own mash. I focus on flavor with a warming sensation. I would never put my hot sauce on an Italian dish. Now dried peppers is a different story, they would work well with Italian.
>>21695886NoAlso Tabasco is the WORST hot sauce
>>21695879I dont know, sorry cutie :)
>>21695879Did the place not have roasted hot peppers? I don't know if I'd trust a place that does meatball sammiches and doesn't have hot peppers.
>>21696942Tabasco actually makes some great hot sauces but that isn't one of them
>>21697009the green and the worcester... everything else is done better by other people.
