Most people don’t realize that you can swap Polish/German/Slavic/etc sausages in for Italian sausages in Italian dishes, and they’re either as good or better.I’m going to put some of this smoked kielbasa on a pizza. I will chop up more and mix it with rotini.
>>21696279>raw white kiełbasa on pizzaGrim
>>21696288But it's not raw or white. It's smoked and quite clearly a pinkish color.
>>21696279No, no you can't. Both the texture and flavor profile of those types of sausage are mikes and leagues away from each other. Italian sausage is coarse ground, and heavily fennel spiced. Polish sausages are emulsified, and mainly marjoram and garlic as the primary flavor components. They aren't a reasonable substitution. Just like you wouldn't serve Italian sauges with sauerkraut and apples, neither shouod you serve kielbasa ablnd peppers. You get an F.
>>21696279you are slavicyour sausages are disgusting your opinion is irrelevant
>>21696291>pinkishAs pork tends to be>smoked Nope
>>21696334What point are you even trying to make? This is what smoked kielbasa looks like. There's no debate to be had here, except maybe for fake ones invented by stupid people with too much free time.
>>21696334kielbasa gets smoked all the time you fucking retard
>>21696288OP's pic is clearly cooked.
YOU IDIOT KIELBASA SUJUK ETC ARE ULTRA PROCESSED SAUSAGES MADE OF MASSAGED SLABS OF MEAT RECEIVING THERMAL PROCESSING AND MIXED WITH GLUCOSE TO REMAIN FIRM THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE FRESH ITALIAN SAUSAGES LIKE COTECHINO AND SALSICCIA
>>21696333I’m Japanese actually.
>>21696362no
>>21696335>>21696338>>21696351Hello amerilards this is how SMOKED kiełbasa looks you fucking retards
>>21696375>porkInfidel.
>>21696353There is raw kielbasa that's just meat and spices in an intestine.
>>21696378Christ is King
>>21696381No Kings.
>>21696279umnyou guys use special sausagesi just use the sausages in the supermarketim in britbong so its usually cumberlandcumberland is kinda assi sometimes use chorizo instead, tho i dont think thats italian eitherplz i need better sausages im so fucking sick of bland cumberland
I prefer Austrian sausage.
>>21696375What are you even arguing here? Different smoked kielbasas can have a different appearance. The one in >>21696335is from a Connecticut meat shop famous for their smoked kielbasa and that's what it looks like. Are you arguing just for its own sake?
>>21696403I'm Polish and this kiełbasa is clearly not smokedSmoked kiełbasa has brown or dark skinYour "famous" connectioncut shop is dogshitBuy real polish kiełbasa
>>21696379thats not whats in op's pic though
>>21696427I wouldn't know about that I'm only addressing a post that is clearly wrong.
>>21696425It's smoked, you can ask Martin Rosol's if you like. And you've never even had it. If you're determined to believe what you want despite the evidence and your own ignorance, well, I can't help your stupid brain.
>>21696436I'm genuinely fascinated by this bizzarely retarded post. Have you never eaten any smoked meat before? I mean smoked for food preservation, not brisket or whatever you people eat. You literally need one glance to see that the thing you posted is clearly not smoked. Picrel amongst others is how a smoked kiełbasa looks
>>21696447I'm talking what I've seen in real life and you're just spewing photographs and repeating yourself. I accept your concession.
>>21696401sausages in a jar>anything else
>>21696457>I'm talking what I've seen in real lifekielbasa is just the translation for the word "sausage"but "Polish kielbasa" in the us is not all kinds of varieties of sausage. It's firm bouncy smoked, and typically a blend of pork and beef, or else made out of turkey. Its also a completely different flavor, not just texture, from italian sausage.
>>21696523nobody cares
>>21696334>As pork tends to beCan easily be white.
>>21696279>visibly water cooked sausage>smokedif we are talking about picrel, then it is water cooked sausage, not even polish sausage, but sausage is sausage, usually you cant make it in a bad way
>>21696581I care (:
>>21696279lmao white people eat like shit
>>21696523Kiełbasa is pork. Not beef, and definitely not fucking turkey>>21696604That's cooked white sausage (kiełbasa biała parzona) it's basically the same thing as raw white sausage (kiełbasa biała surowa) but boiled
>>21696279just because you can doesn't mean you should
>>21696320my mom is italian and always eats sausage with apple sauce I don't know why
Nothing beats Polish/Czech sausages and kelbasas imo.
>>21697181Austro-Hungarian influence prolly
>>21696375>darker lighting>LOOK, CLEARLY YOU PLEBS DON'T KNOW KIELBASA LIKE I DO!looks like the polish stereotypes are true
nobody should care about polish sausages it's cheap fat slop that makes people dysgenic
>>21697435The best kielbasa is one that's been hanging forgotten from a hook at the store for half a year, where it dried to the point it's hard as plastic and it crumbles under your knife if it's not super sharp.
>>21696288You would need to flay it after quick dip in boiling water and then rendering the thin slices on a panThen onto a pizza with red onions chicken fatty kabanosy and maybe thick slightly rendered baconI make this kind of pizza ever so often using plain frozen pizza and extra low moisture mozzarella (gotta be grated fresh, otherwise celulose will fuck the cheese up)Dip in garlic sauce or add some hot sriracha style sauce on top
>>21696389God rulesDemocracy drools
>>21696395Go to the nearest Polski Sklep and ask for biala kielbasa and some of wędzonaIf they have anything by krakus get itAnything that isnt in a can tends to be on the levelGet stocked on kabanosy
>>21696436Why would I trust guy called chicken soup when it comes to kielbasa ?Get Johny Kabanos on the line right now
>>21697154You just dont putthe vegans penis and its a good pizza, those sausages could be seared a little before going into oven tho
>>21696279I've done this, it's a nice change. I've made bachelor slop-bowls of pasta, tomato sauce, and chopped kielbasa.
>>21697814>maccaroni + sauce + meat that has extra flavorit cant taste bad
>>21696279It's great in omelets too instead of the usual American-flavored bacon, sausage, etc.
>>21696279>most people this or that.I've never made an Italian recipe with Italian cheese or sausage. I may have used Italian canned tomatoes but they sucked so I don't use them anymore. I use local ones as they cost fraction of a price of original, Italian (imported) ones. You see, it's perfectly fine to substitute ingredients or spices with ones you like. You will get a slightly different meal but it will be made to your local, regional taste.Autists and crooks (which want to sell their exclusive, trademarked goods worldwide) insist that you must only use original ingredients in your kitchen. kekBtw, the "original" Italian pasta (dough) recipes suck too. They haven't changed them in 500 years and it shows. This is NOT to say that their recipes are bad; on the contrary. Some tweaking here and there and they're fantastic.
>>21696279>Most people don’t realize that you can swapyou can, but that doesn't mean you should.
