Is there really no better way to eat this dog? I don't see how any other style can beat it.

That one's all wrong, the bun and peppers. That's not even celery salt either. I know it sounds weird but the pickles look too sour.

my favorite condiment for hotdog or sausage on a bun is to use ketchup
and i never understood why some people were so against it while using the condiment elsewhere

Maxwell Street mogs this shit. Who the fuck thought of putting tomato slices on a hotdog. They make the bun soggy, they make the whole thing colder, and they ultimately don't add anything meaningful. I've lived here for a while and always thought this dog style was mediocre. Go to Jim's and get a polish instead.

It's delicious, don't get me wrong, but it's not balanced and it's not a dog I'd eat multiples of. Just so much vinegar and salt in all those toppings.

Now, the New York dog? That's a more mature and well-rounded approach.

Probably German traditionalists.
Mustard, remoulade or nothing with those guys.

Pickles and relish seems like overkill.
>>

I would struggle to eat all of that in 12 hours

I don't know. Ask a chinese person.

The pickles are typical dill, the relish is a sweet style. Entirely different flavors.
