Why is the large size only offered in Quebec?
>>
Threats of violence.
>>
Because there's only sufficient demand for the large size in Quebec.
>>
>>21713284
you know goddamn well why
>>21713290

I know an actual Quebecois (online) and the stereotypes are true this MFer eats poutine every day and gets real defensive about it like an italian and pasta

For one thing, the large size is the only correct size to get. Poutine is a gluttonous indulgence.

There's a place by me whose smallest size of poutine is fucking huge and like ten bucks. I can get 3-4 meals out of it.
>>
I'm so sick of my diet
I want a poutine so bad...
>>
>>21713284
really thinking about doing the “1 large McDonald’s poutine a day” diet
>>
>>21713284
why does my Vegan chili now taste like poutine just by looking at this image?

I'm from quebec and here's the thing. It's the French Canadians in Quebec (les Québecois) who get real degeneive about poutine and anything else that's apart of their culture. They're super butthurt about losing their culture/language, so they get real mad about everything. Some of them are nice though.

>be frog from quebec
>hate my own people for their unwarranted sense of self-importance
>still can't help myself from getting uppity over people fucking up poutine (especially retards who think fries should somehow defy physics and remain crispy despite sitting in gravy for 15 minutes)
It's an ambivalent kind of feel...
>>
poutine is so fucking salty
>>
>>21713284
It's not
>>
>>21713346
Don't tell me you're eating leftover poutine bro it's not worth it
>>
>>21714614
hangover microwaved poutine hits different
>>
>>21714631
Can't say I haven't done that but I didn't enjoy it as much as you
>>
>>21713284
Why isn't poutine available throughout the US? I've literally never seen it in Florida. Before Trump we used to have Canadians visiting Florida in the winter.
>>
>>21713346
That looks so fucking gross. I bet it kicks ass though. I've never had the opportunity to try it.
>>
>>21713284
I honestly didn't get poutine, until I tried one of those instant broth powders on fries.
>>
>>21713284
There must be some kind of north american trade deal where all cheese curds are sent to Canada. No one sells cheese curds in the united states so we can never try poutine
>>
>>21714711
There's all kinds of regional cuisine in the US, not just poutine.
For one, real cheese curds are not sold outside of the northern tier for the most part. Poutine needs cheese curds, not just regular cheese.
>>
>>21714757
I hear they do in Wisconsin, but I'm in Texas so that's just hearsay
>>
>>21714844
Why can't Americans make cheese curds though? Like we have cows in Florida, I've seen them wandering around wrecked orange groves even. I can buy unpasturized milk from the fruit stand even.

there wouldnt be any cheese at all if we sent em all to cucknada
>>
>>21714289
>chile sin carne
shiggy to the max
>>
>2000 calories
Do Americans really?
>>
>>21715481
It's not that bad for a fast food meal
>>
>>21715300
One time I read there are regulations in the US forcing cheeses to be aged for a certain amount of time before being sold, for similar health reasons to pasteurization laws which prohibit the use of raw milk. idk if that's true, but it might explain why if that's the case. Fresh curds really need to be sold and distributed the day they're made to retain the ideal taste and texture.
