Is he right? Is propane really the ultimate way to grill your steaks, burgers, ribs etc?
>>21715189Since I tend to make only 2 steaks for the wife and I, why start a charcoal fire then wait 30 minutes for it to be ready? then cook the steaks for 8 minutes, but the grill keeps going for hours.Charcoal is good for parties, and smoking.propane can be started, then go inside and prep the steaks and the grill is ready. like 10 minutes.
>>21715189In the grilling the community, we like to have a friendly rivalry between charcoal and propane and such. So naturally each side insists that their method is the best and we will banter with each other about it. Of course some people take it too seriously and forget that it's all just for fun.The best way to prepare your steaks and burgers is the way you like to do it best.
>>21715189This is what my parents used in the 1980s. This is all you need.
>>21715199This. I used to use mostly charcoal because I was always grilling or smoking for friends. Since I've moved and don't have as much company I don't even own a charcoal grill.
Propane for convenience. Charcoal for flavor.
