You need to learn some fucking manners young man

It's technically possible, but not worth the effort.
>>

It's a pain in the ass in my experience. Meanwhile i've got my parent's 12 l pot and it's much easier. Especially when making huge batches.
>>
Any pot is fine if you can keep topping up the water.

It's a well known fact that chicken stock was only discovered after the invention of the stock pot, hence the name.

That's ridiculous, the chicken stock came first. The stock pot is named after it.
>>
>>21720160
If you make it in a regular pan all you will get is soup instead of stock

Julia Child was a big proponent of using whatever you had available. If you had the room to store it, the funds to buy it, and the kitchen import shop to go buy it at, she said go ahead and buy the piece you need. Otherwise, use whatever you have in your kitchen!
Pic related as an example. In her Chop Dinner in Half an Hour episode, she is showcasing how to make chocolate custards. She shows the CORRECT French cream pot, the little cute one with a lid, but says if you don't have that, use anything else you might have. The little ramekin for mini souffles, the small ceramic, or the oven proof glass dish. It'll all work, and then she goes and does all four of them.
You don't have to be a fart sniffing elitest. Sometimes you can just use what you have.
