Are Vitamix blenders good? I've been thinking of getting a good blender for a while, and I'm eyeing the 5200 or Propel 750 especially since they're on steep sales right now due to Black Friday. Something tells me the newer ones with way more electronic BS would fail way faster.
>>21732220I have a Model 6300. It's worked without complaints for nearly 10 years now. The newer ones (those with the squat carafe and any touch controls) suffer from feature creep that corrode build quality and core performance:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4nIP0EzwrI
>>21732271Would you recommend the 5200 over the Propel 750, then? The latter doesn't really have much feature creep other than some presets. It's not nearly as egregious as their newer ones with screens and other nonsense. Is there a reason the more stout containers aren't good?
