What are you making for Thanksgiving?
>>
i started defattening myself recently and have been eating lots of these. very nice, i recommend.
>>
>>21733490
i cum in peas
>>
>>21733490
grapes?
>>
So you prefer to buy your ice cream unfrozen?
>>
>>21733616
>ice cream
I am neither physically fat nor spiritually fat
>>
>>21733490
Broccoli is often cheaper in the bags. If you don't mind it a little limp. Definitely not for broiling but it's fine for everything else.
>>
>>21733620
then you have no reason to deny yourself an occassional treat, why would someone be so scared of sweets if theyre not fat
>>
>>21733625
Normal people simply don't find concentrated sugar appealing. It's only a "treat" to fatties with a sugar addiction.
>>
>>21733638
Freezing it makes it a lot less sweet.
That's why unfrozen ice cream is inedibly sweet
>>
>>21733646
>actually ice cream isn't that sweet
You are irredeemably fat
>>
Also corn.
>>21733624
>Broccoli is often cheaper in the bags
I don't find this to be true. It's always on sale somewhere for 99¢/lb and the frozen bags are $1.25/12oz these days.
>>21733652
You are irredeemably not very smart.
>>
I wonder, why frozen potatoes from the store are mushy and grainy, but if I freeze my own potatoes they are fine when cooked?
>>
>>21733818
>frozen potatoes from the store
?
Do you mean something like fries? I'm not sure I've ever seen frozen potatoes sold in any other format but fries, tots and hashbrowns (both as loose shredded taters and in patty form IE giant tots). Y'know: fried shit.
If you mean that, I can tell you that you're probably reheating them incorrectly.

No, when I move to USA our sponsor give us some frozen meals to heat up, from the store. Some have potatoes. not fried.
>>
The only frozen vegetable I don't like is carrots. They definitely use compost-tier carrots for frozen stuff.
>>
>>21734019
dont even talk about that shit, frozen carrots are FUCKED

For me it’s peas, corn and edamame beans. Berries are fine if you’re using them in a smoothie. Otherwise frozen produce is trash.
>>
>>21733490
I maintain a substantial stash of frozen peas, corn, and carrots and it's a cornerstone of my food security.

tossing a handful into soup, sauteing in butter, or just steaming, they're always good

almost every person on earth finds concentrated sugar appealing. in fact if you don't find sugar appealing you are not normal

What of frozen fries? All good fries should be frozen either way
>>
>>21734472
everyone knows you buy those in liquid form and freeze them yourself, youre just getting a bad deal if you buy then pre frozen
>>
for me it's frozen cauliflower rice and frozen zucchini spirals
>>
>>21733490
Frozen peas are in fact the best frozen vegetable.
The worst frozen vegetable is picrel.
>>
>>21735122
yuck
>>
>>21734019
Uhh the carrots are fine, look tasty. I used to have an issue with frozen broccoli, but now I like it. It's just a matter of exposure.
>>
>>21735122
Damn I wish that was available here, great combo. Though bell pepper is one of those things you eat for vit C, and heat kills it. Also for some reason frozen bell pepper is more expensive than fresh, regardless of season
>>
>>21734480
French fries are good also but they fall into the category of pre-made foods rather than raw ingredient.

>>
>>21735122
You don't cook onyo and bell pepper together, this is worthless for most applications.

u dumb.
I stash dry beans
>>
>>21735278
Man can't live on beans alone.

I'm not prepping for the pocalypse anon, just for the next covid or black summer or whatever happens next that keeps us from going out
>>
>>21735310
Lovely place.
>>
I don't think I've ever had non-frozen peas
>>
>>21735508
Very easy to grow. All it needs is a trellis of some kind
>>
>>21735508
Canned?
>>
>>21733521
peas can raise your uric acid though
>>

If you're really prepping, then at this point you have vertical bifacial solar panels, battery, inverter with backup and freezer with backup. You don't have to go back to stone age immediately. You can have very reliable electricity and refrigeration the next decade.

I recently discovered that frozen Brussels sprouts are great for turning into smooshed crispy goodness. They get mushier due to the freezing so you can cook them enough to squish in less time
>>
>>21738286
I did find your other picture to be lovely. I wasn't being sarcastic.
