School lunch core. People make fun of American school lunches but this stuff was aimed to please children and I was pleased. Some grilled salmon or pea soup wouldn't appeal to me until age 25. And that has nothing to do with parents, they fed me healthy food and vegetables I just didn't care for them because most kids don't genuinely
>>21739425That’s where I feel bad for you. Yes nutritious things aren’t attractive to children, intuitively they’re wired to appreciate carbs the most. Carbs are great fuel so you feel good however a salmon or pea soup would strengthen your brain and your digestive track differently than goyslop ever can America is like the first country to give children a choice over their lunch (that I know) and provide them with the best goyslop there is. If I was a there child I’d likely pick that too, thankfully I wasn’t and my iq is 115 lol
>>21739446>America is like the first country to give children a choice over their lunchFFS WHEN WILL YOU AMERICANS REALISE YOU ARE NOTHING SPECIAL AND A WHOLE WORLD EXISTS OUTSIDE OF YOUR BUBBLE.
>>21739446No child is going to choose salmon or pea soup over nuggets and sauce or macaroni and cheese. Not even European or African ones who never tasted such luxury
>>21739446>nutritious things aren’t attractive to the fat children of unintelligent parentsFixed that for you, lardgolem. All of my favourite foods were and continue to be nutritious ones. My son is the same way. He only had a chicken nugget for the first time last year. And he's eight years old. >>21739465>No child is going to choose salmon or pea souplmaoI was legit going to mention it above but decided against it that my favourite childhood food was pasta with speck and peas. I didn't have salmon until adulthood because it wasn't a common fish in Italy when I was growing up but I enjoy fish in general and always have. I used to go apeshit coocoo bananas over crabs and octopus. Like my kid, I didn't think much of chicken nuggets when I first had them. I was thoroughly unimpressed.
>>21739543Pasta with peas is kid food. Usually know ds will like peas or carrots or corn as their chosen plant, and kids will eat most pasta because it's just bread Kid so picky they won't touch mayo, celery, onions, or fish? But all kids love tuna macaroni salad
>>21739590>Pasta with peas is kid food. Not sure we're talking about the same thing. https://www.youtu.be/KGFdPUxIWqgThat's how it's made where I'm from. My mum added speck, pancetta or guanciale and cracked an egg into it as well. And I specifically mentioned it to counter the "kids won't eat pea soup" nonsense both OP and the other guy made.>all kids love tuna macaroni salad I liked mayo, onions and celery (also fish, as mentioned earlier) but I hated Anglo tuna salad the first time I had it because lardgolems put way too much mayonnaise. It's practically cold tuna soup. At least sugar isn't standard like those godawful potato or macaroni salads those fatties make.
>>21739704>>21739590Akshully, I found a video in English (using an AI translator and voice):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3GaGKK_AokThis one is pretty much identical to my mum's.
>>21739543>>21739704You sound pretentious and your kid us going to grow up to be a psychopath

>>21739425school lunches are a plot by dominos pizza to handicap the brains of america at a young age and keep certain neurons from developing as an effort to keep the future population weak and docile enough to keeping eating their garbage unquestionably in adulthood.
>>21739446>my iq is 115 >lolI think you forgot a decimal somewhere in that 115, retard-kun.
>>21739808You don't know what pretentious means.

>>21739425seasonally appropriate, I always loved this turkey in gravy over mashed potatoes. they'd pull it out two or three times a year, always once around thanksgiving. my school served slightly more appealing trays but it's all that same government recipe. it became a "trend" in the lunchroom to put the little butter pack that came with the yeast rolls (one of the best parts, love those rolls) into the mashed potatoes to melt, then to be poured onto the split open roll. i've thought about scaling down and making some of those old school recipes but haven't gotten around to it, there's a scan of the whole book on internet archive.
