Thanksgiving dinner rate thread.
>>
>>21747624
absolute thanksgiving baseline. all thanksgivings are built on this model. you have assembled the perfect platonic form of a thanksgiving dinner.
a perfect 5/10. you dont need more.
>>
im as pale as milk, for the first time in my life i can see why they say white people food looks bland and plain.
this image almost looks sterile.
>>
>knife on left side of plate
If this isn't a reversed image 0/10 for completely wrong cutlery placement. Otherwise 5/10
Looks bland and too wet

I had me a solo girl dinner, feta stuffed olives, black olives, pimiento olives, dill hummus, several types of crackers, sharp white cheddar, spicy mustard
Not pictured because I ran out of room on the plate- hard salami slices
And lots of Blue Moon
>>
Standard and good. Would eat. The dressing is a little moist for my taste.
>>
>>21747630
That's funny, you don't sound white
>>
>>21747660

Dressing was extra crispy, beans were a bit soft, but I made them with miso
My wife pretty recently got out of a coma so I bought frozen beans instead of having her French them
Gravy was made with goose stock it was intense, I'm gonna have to do that some more

I love Thanksgiving.

It's when Americans try to make a Roast dinner and fail dramatically and they have the nerve to laugh at us Brits.

I didn't get any pictures, but I had Thanksgiving at my mom's and dad's today

Mom
>Prime Rib (cooked by my brother)
>Shredded turkey in gravy
>Mashed Potatoes
>Stuffing
>German potato salad
>Croissants
>Sauteed Carrots from her garden
>Pickled Carrots from her garden
>Pickled Cucumbers from her garden

Dad
>Grilled ham steak with Worchester and liquid smoke
>Roasted turkey with gravy
>Mashed potatoes mixed with bacon, cheese, and fried onions
>>
>>21747644
Holy shit women are pathetic.
>>
I made a shit load of deviled eggs and they were a hit, like always. I didn't try any until this morning though, and I think I added too much pickle to them. Despite making 48 deviled eggs, a single smally chopped pickle was too much IMO, it overpowered the other flavors. Still good, but not quite what I was aiming for.
>>
>>21747644
you could of had frozen turkey meal. KFC or any take out chicken with mash and gravy. even could of probably cook a frozen chicken breast or turkey tight/breast. frozen mashed potatoes, packet gravy. no lol pathetic. I eat better than what you had everyday for fucks sake, get your life together

you are that fucking lazy

Typical Thanksgiving spread. And some "lobster mac and cheese" which I was told was just some store bought thing. Dessert I made myself. I really liked the sweet potatoes.

Absolutely. It was only me and my parents and they wanted to get small shit. Just a Turkey Breast. A box of stovetop stuffing. Some bottled gravy or the packet gravy. Fuck that. Got a 15 pound one, made a quart of gravy, made a 13x9 of homemade stuffing, and other shit. Eating good for days

didnt take a pic but since its just my wife and i we did a chicken instead of turkey
>two day marinated deep fried cajun chicken
>serrano bacon mac n cheese
>loaded mashed potatoes with chicken gravy
>homemade stuffing
>cranberry sauce

>pumpkin pie

What do you think of my mom's stuffing recipe:
>Browns ground beef in a pot and adds some msg
>Adds chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper to pot
>Adds some cornbread
>Puts in chicken bullion and some water then let's it simmer
>once it reduces adds a lot of black pepper
>packs the stuffing into opened Bell Pepper halves then adds them to a pan, fills it with a bit of water, and bakes them for about 20-30 minutes

I enjoy eating it but I think she should sautee the veggies first and add some garlic. She might also be better served browning the ground beef in a separate pot then adding it.

I made my personal Thanksgiving dish on Saturday since I had Thanksgiving by my parents' on Thursday. I'm dieting right now, so I focused on creating dishes without a lot of carbs and excess calories.

I made
>baked whole chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, and rosemary
>a soup with diced ham, carrots, sweet onions, sweet potatoes, and celery
>fresh cranberry sauce without sugar
Overall, everything turned out very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The sweet potatoes dissolved a bit into the soup, giving the broth a sweet flavor. The cranberries were a bit bitter due to the lack of sugar, but they were still tasted very fresh and high quality.

My MIL is trying to "get rid" of the leftovers by making turkey mole after she took them, I told her she could have some
