I approve. Investments in the development of memory, brain and mind should yield useful results. In casethey don't provide monetary benefits, they will provide benefits for the organism. The main difference between Homo Sapiens Sapiens and other species of living beings is intellect and consciousness.

I started learning Russian back in 2012. After a few years I was completely fluent, I travelled to Russia multiple times, even dated a Russian girl and everything.

Somehow I just lost interest and now I can easily go months without using my Russian skills. Makes me bother why I spent all that time learning it... At least I can read Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky in the original language I guess.

One thing I noticed about Russia, and also many other third world countries like America, is that the idea of an unprocessed sausage is literally incomprehensible to them.

I have never seen a Russian sausage that wasn't just some flourescent pink paste formed into a tube shape. Just like those nasty hotdogs that Americans eat.

That is why nobody outside of the UK can get the full English right, their minds are completely buckbroken by the thought of a sausage that's just pure meat and spices.
>>
>>21759507
All sausages are processed by definition, ESL anon.
>>
>>21759511
>erm akshually all sausages are processed *nerd emoji*
You know what I mean you fucking retard. And no I'm not an ESL.

What are you blabbering about, you can get stuff like this anywhere in Eastern Europe.
>>
>>21759540
Eastern Europe is not a monolith, fucking retard. Russians don't eat blood sausage. Some ethnic minorities in Russia might eat it, but it's simply not a part of Russian cuisine.
>>
>>21759570
You can easily buy it in Russia, so they eat it. Non hotdog like sausages is not some fucking exotic food there lmao, you have no idea what are you talking about.

I presume by unprocessed you mean ones that have to be cooked before eating, and we have plenty of those, but in our supermarkets they are usually grouped along with meat, for the aforementioned reason.
As for "processed", salted, cured or smoked stuff the average selection at a non-specialized minimarket looks like this.

People buy pink stuff for convenience, just like you do with your many variations of spam, so stop being disingenuous.
I also distinctively remember Terry Pratchett mocking British sosigs, saying that compared to the real German stuff they are basically paper/sawdust.
All through the prism of Discworld, of course.

>>21759570
Also complete bullshit, I've been eating blood + buckwheat sausages my entire life here in Moscow.
