How is Domino's treating all the fly overs today?

New Yorker here and I do not endorse OP here.

True New Yorkers, we enjoy what we have, and keep in the back of our minds how lucky we are to have access to exceptional pizza. We don't waste time talking down to people outside the city.
>>
The blissful ignorance of the flyover is beautiful at times.

Oh, I'm aware, I live in New Jersey and even people from Yonkers think this state is beneath them.

Enjoying the return to Dinkins era NYC? Where did you buy something to flee to?

Also, I'm consulting on maiden ln once a week, lmk if there are any decent lunch spots off the radar.

>>21752767
Vodka chicken, dunce. And ranch is not served at Pizza places in this state, I guess unless you're at Domino's. Wouldn't know.
>>
>>21752770
That's niche flyover. It doesn't exist in most of flyover. But it does exist in the plains states which are arguably the flyover of flyover so I guess you're right.
>>
>>21752764
Prototypical new york pizza is unironically just sbarro -- nothing exceptional about it. I know you can get better than sbarro in new york, but that's the exception not the rule and not exclusive to new york whatsoever. There's a local brick oven place near me that mogs the fuck out of sbarro for $12 a pie.

Not true, I'm afraid. At least, not any longer. This is at Koronet Pizza on the UES, and there are surely other pizzerias doing the same. Buffalo chicken pizza often has ranch dressing already on it, as well.

I'm in the Village and I don't eat in FiDi very often, so anything I know about down there you probably know about as well.

>Prototypical new york pizza is unironically just sbarro
Categorically false. For one thing, you're failing to distinguish between slice joints and pie joints, which use different cooking methods and usually different types of ingredients.

For another, you're ignoring (I assume deliberately) the tiers of quality there are in slice joints, just as there are tiers of quality in anything else.
>>
>>21752803
I went to one of the most highly rated "pie joints" in Brooklyn and it was literally forgettable because I don't even remember anything about it other than that it was slightly better than average. Pizza hipsters are really ridiculous people.

No ranch on pizza is a meme, pretty much every pizza place nowadays has a few chicken/ranch combo pizzas the only one I've been to recently that doesn't is the real Joe's which really only does pepperoni. Otherwise there's usually a Chicken/Bacon/Ranch and a Buffalo Chicken pizza.
More people move from Los Angeles and the Bay Area than pretty much anywhere else (same industries and real estate prices without the driving and you have a reason to wear the North Face and Patagonia fleeces and jackets you own). It's also why every burger place is trying to copy in-n-out.

I grew up with my mom cooking depression food for all of us. No shame in any of that stuff. But working in Manhattan for years, I'm a cunt now.

I feel blessed to live in an area where people typical sell quality over slop, outside of the Chinese restaurants. There are a few legit Sichuan places here, but not the norm. Go north 30 minutes and you can get great indo Chinese, Korean, Indian etc. Any NJ people have good Edison recommendations?

Shit has gone up massively in price and they keep gradually making their pizzas smaller.
