What’s the worst food you have been served?

The soup I've posted before, processed chicken chunks with.. spaghetti, I guess the only pasta they had for soup. The steak sandwich seemed to have Steak'umms or some equivalent.

A slab of boiled horse with tomato sauce, I still don't know if they were trying to poison us with that authentic Maltese "delicassy".Such an ugly cut too with "boils" of fat and huge strands of cartilage, I can't even find any pictures of something even remotely as vile prepared with horse.

Cafeteria at work once had a beef stew so unbelievably salty it was simply not edible, I have no idea what had happened, like eating a spoon of pure salt isn't too far away from how that tasted.

The diner next door was completely full and my friend and I had gone to Cracker Barrel the morning before (it was amazing) so we thought Denny's wouldn't be bad. The service was fine but the eggs were so overcooked they were brown and the cheese in them was plasticky, the bacon was tiny and flavorless, the sausages were shriveled little turds and the hashbrowns were gooey. The only edible thing on the plate was the toast. I'm sure I had worse growing up when my parents made some sort of flavorless slop but as far as food I paid for Denny's has to be it.

I've heard of bad steaks and non-breakfast dishes, but that's why I would always just have breakfast there. Sorry about your experience but you should give them a try again someday. Something was really wrong that day. Especially for so many things to be bad on your plate. Denny's used to be the local 24 hour place you could smoke at and drink coffee and sober up at, so I've had dozens of meals there over the years. It's usually a dependable choice in unfamiliar territory if I can't find a mom and pop diner.

Made the mistake of going to Subway last week. This was a 6" chicken teriyaki with all the regular salads. Just awful.The bread wasn't even cooked properly.Never again.
