You just got through taking your fries (or chips) out of the oil. They are crisp but still damp, so it's time to season them so the seasoning sticks and coats your crispy taters.

Other than plain salt, you decide to reach for?

Obviously.
My wife hates vinegar and I love it. I keep it in my coat pocket to put on my fries as soon as they hit my table. That whole "I'm not hungry, just get something for yourself" act followed by stealing my fries has been effectively destroyed.

Just get some fries for yourself, damn. I don't mind paying for them.

I never used anything but salt really but I had a friend that would put pepper on his fries and he went to hotel school so I trusted his culinary instincts and have tried it myself. It's pretty decent, I even saw some pepper packets next to the salt ones at my local McDonalds so maybe it's actually a common thing I was never aware of?
>>21754326
Yo I got this from my brother who visited the south (I'm European) and I literally put it on EVERYTHING for 2 months. Never tried it on fries though.

French fries, especially deep-fried ones, are considered harmful if consumed frequently and excessively. But not every human being has set a goal to surpass the record of Methuselah and live 970 years in a row.

Mmm, it was really good though maybe I liked it because there's nothing like it in my local grocery stores. picrel is the brand I got. It was waaaay too salty but other than that I quite liked it. The guy who makes it even has a YT channel doing various recipes and things.

It is chicken powder, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. That's it.
