should i be not using oils like avacado oil and olive oil? they are not seed oils but they have a lot of omega 6 fatty acids i think which cause inflammation and stuff
>>21756354for cooking please
>>21756352Depends on which schizo you ask. Some will say they're not technically seed oils, so they're kosher, while others will say they're spiritually seed oils, so they're not kosher. The reality is that you're a fat fuck because you eat 3,500 calories and walk fewer than 100 steps in a day and changing out muh sneed oils for the snake oil du jour won't change that.
>>21756369im actually 18 bmi, i just dont want a bunch of unhealthy oils i guess and i cant really figure out which one is bad, they all seem bad except for fishes which are good
Olive oil for cold/dressing onlyAvocado oil for cooking
>>21756377but they both got a lotta omega 6 fatty acids
>>21756374Don't worry about it. Today it's muh sneed oils. Yesterday it was muh soi, and before that it was muh gluten. It's been like this since at least (ironically) the saturated fat scare of the 70s and tomorrow the same grifters will find something else to scare you with.
>>21756352>i think which You don't think at allNow go fucking look it up and don't ask AI
>>21756386>soi*soyLurk moar, tourist.
>>21756352If you don't have a family history of heart disease like I do it's probably fine. Either way use coconut oil.
>>21756352Omega 6 isn't inherently bad. It's a necessary nutrient that your body can't produce and it's required for good health. The issue is more people eating too much in general and a possible lack of omega 3. Olive and avocado oil don't have much omega 6 anyway.
>>21756443i looked it up and apparently you just need to get a certain amount of omega 3s compared to omega 6s, though i think you need some anywaymore omega 3s arent ever really bad i think, so i am still worried about oils>>21756435i dont think i do, i have low blood pressure as well, i passed out standing up once>>21756392you are my ai, anoni
>>21756386this
>>21756453here in the mediterranian we've used olive oik 6ever, however for deep frying, sunflower seems to be more optimal, I think it reaches higher temps easier or some shit
>>21756352
>>21756521what???? so why are people so obsessed with lard and butter now then? they don't seem particularly good at anything
>cooking board>off topic imageHow hard is it to post an image relevant to the thread that you are creating on the board that is dedicated to food and cooking. This is not a foreign cartoon board, it's for food and cooking.
>>21756536you vaccinated?low omega 6 is good, saturated fat isn't bad in moderation
>>21756583yah but olive oil's linoleic acid is just as low as something like lard and not all that much higher than butter, so is it that omega 9's are also really bad for you?
>>21756453>more omega 3s arent ever really bad i thinkYou can get too much omega 3 and have side effects from that. It's just difficult to do so unless you're taking a load of supplements. People don't really understand much about omega 3 and omega 6 regarding this. They think 3 = good and 6 = bad, but both are necessary for optimal health and both are bad when consumed in amounts that are too high.>>21756536I dislike the way lard tastes but at least with butter it tastes good and has a good amount of vitamin A. I still think it's better to use any refined fat minimally and just eat whole foods for fat when possible. So I end up drinking milk instead if I want to get dairy fat into my diet. I'll try to eat nuts or olives if I want more fat otherwise. Since I only use oil sparingly most of the time I'm not too worried about seed oil, though I still prefer olive oil.
>>21756550Anime website. Go cry about it on reddit.
>>21756611>tranime websitenever was never will be, go dilate about it on your now deceased troonblr site faggot
>>21756352>they are not seed oils but they have a lot of omega 6 fatty acids i think which cause inflammation and stuffonly if the balance of omega 3s you also ingest aren't equivalent, that's all.Do you get your cholesterol checked? Has someone told you that your numbers are off?
>>21756536they taste good, and eating animal products makes some people hard
>>21756481yeah olive oil has a relatively low smoke point, at which it becomes bitter
>>21756917Not your website, till the day you die
>>21756352fell for it again.
>>21756374>they all seem bad except for fishes which are goodwrong, and wrongfood is not "healthy" or "unhealthy" eating habits are healthy, and unhealthy.stop worrying about pointless bullshit.
>>21756453>i have low blood pressure as welleat more salt.
>>21756536My rule is that if an oil is something I cannot make at home without using some convoluted process then it is probably not good for you. the simpler an oil is to make the better it is.
>>21756940>>i have low blood pressure as wellhow low?
>>21756352You need a balance of omega 6 to omega 3. Eat salmon and you'll be fine.
Use canola for everything. It's the healthiest oil by far and blows away every other fat and oil in most metrics. It's also great shaken with a cold garden fresh salad.
>>21756967brought to you by the conola oil marketing group.
>>21756982Prove me wrong. Canola has low saturated fat content and high levels of monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids, which can support heart health. It also has plenty of vitamins E and K. Canola also has a high smoke point making it ideal for high temperature cooking. Canola fields are also an ideal honey bee habitat and food source and an ideal rotational crop breaking up pest and disease cycles. Oh and did I mention it's VERY INEXPENSIVE and widely available? It's a true miracle oil.

>>21757071You can also use it for heat treating knives.
>>21756550You wouldn't be able to contribute anything to the thread regardless, kek. Speeging out over miniscule issues is the only way you can put that tiny brain to use.

>almost 2026>STILL haven't taken the Peatpill. It isn't "seed oils" that are bad per se, like there's some arbitrary magic about them being from seeds or not. It's Polyunsaturated Fats (PUFAs) in general that are bad, and it happens that most seed oils happen to also be high in PUFAs.Saturated fat is good for you, thr best sources being coconut oil and grassfed butter.
>>21756536They're for flavour, but certainly aren't healthy. Just consume in moderation, as with most things.
>>21756352you should not be eating fat period.
>>21757126>he can't into reading comprehension
