There's something to be said for a nice cold glass of grape juice. (Not wine, but fresh, unfermented grape juice.)There's a farm in my state that makes the best I've ever had, both white and purple kids. $10 a pint but so good. They've shut down operations for the winter, though. Any good grape juice near you?
no
>>21757210This is the farm I mean. Gonna be a long wait until next year. Until then I'll have to contend with the best I can get from bougie stores, I suppose.
>>21757210I don't want my grapes touched by those purple kids
>>21757210>from concentrate as an advertising point
>>21757236purple?
>>21757228good grape juice is hard to find but it's fucking incredible when you do
>>21757210a house i was sitting this summer had an overburdened arbor out front so i pruned the vine and made a bunch of grape juice. it looked like cirrhotic piss and was surprisingly sour, but it had a nice flavor besides that. i ended up adding some sugar and black tea to it to mellow it out, made a nice iced drink
>>21757228Penn Yan is also home to a duck egg ice creamery
>>21757488Holy shit. That must taste fucking amazing
It's way too sweet to drink on its own but I do enjoy mixing it with sparkling water for a cheap Spindrift knockoff.
>>21757508I prefer prune juice. Cold.
>>21757503It's really good. I think they locally source just about every ingredient they can. They own ducks at the place too but I think they get most of their eggs from a different place nearby. Picrel was just wandering around when I went this summer.
>>21757530It's "chilled", not "cold".
>>21757210Goyim don't know...
>>21757636>from concentrate with added ingredientsWhat about it? That shit is vastly inferior to fresh juice.
>>21757644Small hat status: lacking
>>21757503>>21757508Agree with you both
I grew up immediately next door to an abandoned Welch's concord grape vineyard. We picked the leaves for salads and cooking and ate and pressed the grapes for juice and wine. Serious sugar rush. I miss that place.
>>21757210Yeah, there's something to be said. I've got something to say. It's just a bunch of sugar and I fucking hate grape juice. The worst of the juices after apple. Grape flavor is good though. Candy, popsicles, Kool Aid, Crush.. I like grape alright. And I eat grapes too. All colors and shapes and sizes of them. And I care for raisins a great deal. But I've never liked grape juice...And that's all I've got to say about that.
>>21757488They could team up and finally make grape ice cream. No one asked for it and grapes and cream seem fucking weird and gross, but it always seems to be GoonieMania and Chunk says "they got apple, they got grape!", when he's in the freezer with the dead FBI agent. Neither flavor exists as a common ice cream as far as I know. Though an apple cinnamon crumble thing with oat cookie chunks and caramel sauce would really sell I think.

>>21757210Should you ever see them, look for imported champagne grapes. They are so ridiculously, unbelievably good, you'd be amazed that anyone would waste them for alcohol.
>>21760255>imported champagne grapesWhere would one find these, and what would they be called?
