i live in japan4 years now and i've yet to have a pizza here that i would describe as anything more than just OK. toppings aside, the dough and cheese and even the sauce they use here is completely different. it's softer, almost sweet. japs are allergic to crispy crusts. sausage and pepperoni as we know them in the states don't exist here, at best you can hope for a handful of slices of thin, bland, vaguely ham-tasting pieces of wiener thrown on almost as an afterthought.
