Food you love but your body can't handle.
>>
how can you not handle onion soup? It's just broth with cheese.
>>

onion soup always gives me diarrhea

>onion soup always gives me diarrhea
it's just too much salt. make your own with less salt.
>>
>>21765192
thanks, I'm not convinced but I'll give it a shot at least

i love kimchi but it completely destroys my bowels. the first time i had it i was literally pissing out of my ass for hours afterwards, i thought i was going to pass out.
>>

This fucker right here.
Most cream cheese sits like shit in me since I turned 30. But this product right here, while delectable, caused the single worst gas pain I have ever felt

Spicy foods. Chicken Manchurian and bulkdak specifically
>>

Spicy food. Anything habanero level and beyond gives me the raging shits yet I love it so.

>>
Anything tasty. It just gets fat.
>>
>>21765190
And onions. Some people don't digest the type of sugar in onions very well and it can lead to digestive issues.
>>
>>21765178
scallops, i developed a fucking mollusk allergy at 30
>>
>>21765178
Closest thing I have to this is Publix spicy nonbreaded wings. They are delicious and are also crazy value for the money but they give me burning shits on the way out. Only a minor inconvenience but that's the only thing besides getting incredibly drunk that has my body telling me that I fucked up the day after.

Same, but with all selfish. Back in 2012 red lobster did a long crab special for $24.99. I ate there twice a week till it ended. 4 years later my doc tells me the bad news. If I'm on death row, it will be my final meal.
>>
>>21765178
I could imagine myself loving food and desserts more but I was born with dairy and egg allergy. Grim.
>>
oatmeal and fried rice
>>
Beans and most legumes. I can handle it but after that I feel slugish and bloated and sometimes I get headaches.
>inb4 you gotta soak em and bla bla bla
yeah I'm doing all that and cooking them in a pressure cooker
>>
>>21765807
i can eat shrimp fine so i should be good with crab and lobster. apparently it's not uncommon for such allergies to develop around 30 though. i was actually pretty sad because i love scallops and going scalloping. and i'm gonna miss clam chowder too :(
>>
>>21765178
I love spicy food. But if I eat anything that's spicier than taco bell mild sauce, my stomach will hurt for hours and my asshole will burn like the fires of hell when I take a shit. It's just not worth it.

I have lost the ability to eat deep-fried food with age. Feels like heavy rocks in my stomach, shortly after eating and for hours.
>>
Im starting to feel like Im allergic to food in general the way I feel after meals

I probably need to start an elimination diet like keto or something
>>
coffee

gives me the mega shits if i drink it more than once a week or two
>>
>>21766139
The realest elimination diet is the AIP, Auto Immune Protocol diet. It sucks but it can help. Also maybe bloodwork

Sometimes that’s the price of a good meal. In my opinion French Onion soup is worth it despite the inconvenience that will come later

I got the sleeve. I can eat anything but only like 4 full mouthfuls of it. 2 hard boiled eggs in 10 minutes if I eat slow. I can drink half a cup of water in 15 with them. Any faster and it 1 express ticket to the pain train for the next hour. That said pizza is deceptively bigger then you think. Can't even do the crust usually from one slice.

Rice.
If I eat it about 15 minutes later my guts twist up and then I’m on the toilet for eternity. I’ve no idea why it happens.
Kind of sucks.
>>
>>21766698
I feel nauseous and get headaches after eating rice. From what I've read, all grains have proteins similar to gluten and some people may be sensitive to other ones as well. Corn has zein, rice has orzenin. Rice allergy is also a possibility but probably less likely.
>>

I don’t know really.
My body just violently rejects the stuff.
I’ve come too close to embarrassing myself in restaurants to risk it anymore.
>>
>>21765262
I've never been able digestively handle spicy foods but as a kid I just dealt with shitting 4 times a day for years. now that I'm 30 I would feel stupid going to excuse myself at work every 2 hours to blast magma out of my ass so I avoid it on work days

I ate a whole bag of the jalapeno cheddar Cheetos. As I was finishing the bag, I started getting the worst headache of my life.
>>

I can relate, man. Am 32, when I hit 30, all of a sudden, fried foods make me feel way shittier than ever before. Cut out fast food like 5 years ago, maybe my body lost its resistance.
>>
>>21765178
Banana pudding. Tastes so good but bananas completely destroys my stomach for the rest of the day.
>>
I love cooking with these buggers but the heat, while it adds to a recipe greatly, totally destroys my gastrointestinal tract. They cramp my intestines and then the finale explosion -expulsion makes me cry out for momma. The following week I cook with them again oddly.
>>
>>21768481
What do you pair them with? If you have them with some starchy food and oil then you should have no gastrointestinal distress
>>
>>21765762
>drink alcohol
>have reaction
many such cases, mon ami
>>
Not cheeseburgers. Not necessarily McDonald's. Just their sesame seed buns. I can eat sesame seed buns anywhere else, I can eat McDonalds just fine.

But whatever they do at McDonalds with their sesame seed buns makes me shit like a demon.
>>
>>21769447
No, it's the sulfites, makes my throat close
It's also in some beers, most ciders, most vodkas, a lot of sake, soju, and sriracha and sambal
But hey, I learned to cook, there's a silver lining

Gum

gives me canker sores, nothing else has this effect on me
>>
>>21765178

>>
Lately most restaurant food triggers my acid reflux, even if I only eat like a third of what I ordered. Probably all the salt and richness compared to homecooked
>>
>>21765207
salt is a diuretic, that anon is correct when they told you less salt
your body needs salt but this should mitigate the diarhea somewhat
>>
>>21772485
what the fuck
its an onion soup

the ONION causes diarrhea because it cant be entirely broken down by your gut
>>
>>21772488
oh i didnt know that thank you for informing me
>>
>>21770637
a relative of mine thought she had a strawberry allergy, turns out she was allergic to a weed that grows close by and she reacted to the pollen on the berries
maybe youre lucky
