first sandwich of the day, a club sandwich.multigrain bread, mayo, pickles, cabbage, tomatoes, bacon, turkey, cheddar. toasted of course.it was okay, the cabbage was too crunchy, a romaine lettuce would’ve been better but i didn’t have any. i would also have cut the tomatoes thicker next time.not my best sandwich, but it was still tasty.stay tuned for my PM snack ;)
here’s my PM snack, a fine peanut butter & jelly.french white bread lightly toasted, bonne maman strawberry preserve, and kraft dark roast peanut butter.this was an amazing pb&j. once i’m done with the strawberry preserve i think i’ll get some st dalfour blueberry jam.
forgot to include it in my previous post, but in around 2.5 hours i’ll be posting my final sandwich of the day. any guesses?
>stay tunedNah I'm out. Boring.
Post more sammiches

final sandwich of the day, a philly cheesesteak. i burnt the shrooms a bit, but the bread had the perfect texture, which is a shame because i burnt a bit earlier and threw it out.thanks for joining me for my day of sandwiches!>>21768212>>21768213i’m sure you can find dark roast PB if you’re in the US

>>21769338>>21769629it was a regular baguette actually, although maybe a bit flat. would’ve posted this in my previous but i got flagged for spam
>>21769770>you’re not wrong but it scratched the itchat least u own up to itwas a very good lookin sandwich for the record, just not a club. i'd eat that all day every day
>>21769899appreciate it anon.here’s my sandwich for the evening, a tuna melt using multigrain butt bread. burnt the shit out of it during the melt part but was able to scrape most of that off

>>21773222Damn you
>>21773226don't worry anon, you will find the perfect bread one day
>>21771335Literally the perfect sandwich, if you remove the cabbage. Holy shit. I didn't think this thread would be any good, but most of these sandwiches are getting my cock hard.
>>21773274glad you're liking it anon. I made one without cabbage a few days earlier, and it turned out a lot better (panini press grill marks were deeper on bread) but I didn't take a picture
>>21773284i could look at your sandwich creations all day. i really could.
>>21773297just for you, some chili cheese dogs i made last month

>>21775104subbed colbyjack for some provolone
>>21775053I’m really oroud of the chili dogs as well, I’d say the bun is to thank for the mess free experience, it was a restaurant style one so it was super pliable and easy to fill up, I was very surprised by the amount of chili i was able to fill it with.the smoked salmon is definitely a rare treat, i figured i’d do it as a sort of finale for the thread. im really proud of the presentation of the whole thing, and it was delicious of course.>>21775104>>21775135gluten free is grim but post pictures when you’re done

friday night omelette panini on seeded sourdough.mustard, roasted tomatoes, omelette with mushrooms and spinach, spiced with dill, garlic, salt, pepper, & onion powderback bacon
>>21777325look at that melt. for this, i flipped the omelette and shredded the cheese onto the cooked side, then folded it over with the bread on each side. this way the uncooked egg seeped into the bread, which i let heat on the pan for a bit then i placed it into the panini press
>>21776585Nothing. If you're a white trash frogposter which it seems you are. Fatso.

Absolute trash. >>21767926It occurred to me a few days ago how many sandwiches I actually eat - probably the thing I eat the most often. Today for lunch I had a ham and cheddar with spicy mustard, on a plain bagel, with a side of apple chips. Was great. You've got some good looking sandwiches in this thread, OP. I hereby declare you not a faggot

we should all strive to be like this OP. in more ways than one.
>>21767931Get the French grape one it’s bussin frfr
>>21777548on god fr?
>>21777402Yeah, I love all kinds of foods and different cuisines, I'm not picky at all. But a sandwich of any kind just hits the spot sometimes. Here's one for ya, my wife has a red meat allergy so last year I bought duck bacon and made BLTs with that. It was a 10/10. If you can find duck bacon, get it. I would argue it's just as good as pork bacon. >>21777451kek>>21767931Bonne mamam makes some damn fine jams
>>21767926If by club sammich you mean you can club someone over the head with it and knock them out then sure that's a club sammich. Fucking retard but a kilo of turkey in that bitch lmao

today’s lunch, chicken gyros (i already ate the other one)
>>21778559jesus christ that looks horrendous

jumping in with my sandwich>roast chicken, shredded>mayo>diced shallot>diced capers>diced pickles>lemon pepper>salt>chili flakes>nice soft sliced white breadde-lish
steak sandwich on sourdough with havarti cheese. usually i use a baguette but thought i’d switch it up, and it was really good, though i’d use thicker slices next time>>21779482not bad anon, looks nice and light
>>21780660forgot the picture again
>>21780663its giving philly roast pork
>>21779482Just had the leftovers for lunch today. Chicken or choona salad is always better when it's had a chance to rest overnight. I'll keep this memento on the fridge I think.
Not a sandwich, but tonight I made some spaghetti and chicken parm meatballs. The meatballs are of course ground chicken, and baked, which turned out much juicier than expected. Expect a chicken parm meatball sub in the coming days>>21781197I agree, gives the flavours time to get to know eachother
cuban style sandwich (not authentic)
Most of these sandwiches look damn good except >>21778559This one needs:>don't open the pita bread, just fold it around the filling>a LOT more tzatziki, like a quarter cup more>core the tomato properly don't give yourself the shitty slice>thinner sliced, fresher onionotherwise good
Sandwichbro, do you like Reubens?
>>21784045yes
chicken parm meatball sub
>>21784555are those them chiggin meatballs you made the other day? looks wonderful
>>21767926Nice. Lately I have been taking some sandwiches to work so that I don't eat rice everyday. It has been fun figuring out what works best. I love the variety of yours.
>>21784555hes done it again
>>21784559different meatballs, but same process yeah.the recipe i roughly followed is "chicken parm meatballs" on the website "a seasoned greeting">>21784570cheers anon
>>21784568good for you for branching out. bread is my preferred carb, my freezer is loaded with a bunch of different freshly baked varieties.
Hey OP did you ever work at a deli counter or in a sandwich shop? Or are your sandwich making skills just home grown?
>>21784610never, early on i did some research online on how to structure sandwiches and all that but really i just make stuff i think i’d enjoy
>>21767926Question: do you have your combos already in mind or is it a question of what is left over / available at the time?I am happy with my shredded chicken sandwich (chicken with some soy sauce, cabbage, cheese, and tomato) and now I am experimenting with mayo and tuna. I am putting corn and mushrooms next time I make one to see if it all goes well.
>>21767931looks dry, needs a cold glass of milk
>>21769770club needs to have ham, turkey, cheddar, swiss. I am okay with the middle middle slice of bread missing, I usually toss it.Need to try a PB + mayo + banana. Old timey
>>21772156I think the draw of a steak sandwich at McDs is the "breakfast sauce" which is delicious in itself.
>>21775145>for the mess free experience, chili dogs are knife and fork experience, anyway, do not pick them up!>>21775187>yeah when i had some pork pate i made a bahn mi,I have gotten banh mi twice now and the restaurant didn't even think of adding the required pate...I missed the liver flavors. You have a panini press, time to make a cuban sandwich and pretend it's a plancha. Look at "sanguich" in Miami or Versailles for inspiration. My fave is the croqueta preparada.
>>21785407pickles are gross
>>21785394It’s a combination of both I’d say, sometimes I’ll have something specific in mind, other times I’ll make something based on what I have (the bahn mi wasn’t something I’d have thought to make if I didn’t have pork pate)If you’re experimenting with tuna salad, I think corn and mushrooms would be a bit bland and probably wouldn’t add much. If you want to add a twist, add sliced up grapes.>>21785407>cuban sandwichway ahead of you >>21783432>>21785403maybe, but these were delicious sans that sauce
>>21785775>I think corn and mushrooms would be a bit blandYep, it was. I was thinking of a boiled egg. Grapes are too weird for me.
>>21785786boiled eggs go well with the texture for sure. suit yourself anon, i found they added a nice contrasting sweetness
omelette sandwich with leftover ground chicken patty (dill, garlic, thyme, pepper, salt, breadcrumbs) topped with havarti, pickles, & mustard on a brioche bunthis is definitely a “just using what i have” sandwich
