Yet another thread to remind everyone why British people are universally hated
>>
>>21771197
Not a bong but I added leftover gravy from the previous night's roast to a fried rice once and it was amazing.

I'm so fucking mad I didn't get to try british chinese food when I visited London.

I saw a chinese joint and I was like, guys lets go try that place, and my family was like, we're literally chinese, nah.

They didn't understand that's exactly the point.

good morning
>>
>>21771197
Yeah I try to defend English food because I was born there and hate what has happened to the place, but holy fuck looking at that makes me proud to be a naturalized American.

That fried rice looks fucking sad, it barely even has any egg in it, don't think it has any veg or meaty chink either. Fuckin hell

Feel like we've come to appreciate soggy as a food texture in the UK and I'll forever pity anyone who can't.

Chips are falling apart from all of the gravy/curry sauce they've soaked up? GOOD. I want that shit.

Innit it.
>>
>>21773395
Do you think that's cause it rains so much over there or did it come from just over gravying your meat pies or something of the sort, do ya think?
>>
>>21773400
Maybe a bit of both. Most people I know are in agreement that the best bit of a steak pie is the soggy wet pastry thats soaked up a bunch of the gravy. But eating fish and chips while getting pelted with sideways rain is a peak experience too and almost improves it. Much to think about.
>>
>>21773404
Yeah, bit of both sounds about right. And yeah, fish and chips soaked in vinegar on a foggy morning is peak
>>
>>21771281
Looks dry.

Pretty sure I made this exact post before kek. Except I think it was about greggs

Gross. British "chips" always, ALWAYS look wrinkled like they've been sitting out and will be chewy or cold. There seems to be a freshness issue. And they probably don't even know what they're missing. Probably never had them hot and crispy.
>>
>>21771332
There's nothing "succulent" about that food. I don't think you even know what the word means. Do you throw "humble" out there frequently as well?
>>
>>21773376
Are you Japanese?

Is this the slop amerifats feast on daily?
>>
>>21773651
Nope. We don't have that in the USA.

Grim like all brit “food”
>>
>>21773653
The slop habits of Americans are arguably worse because we like to pretend that our food is the best while eating like shit, Brits eat like complete shit but are entirely aware that most of their food is a pile of slop but they embrace it.
>>
>>21771197
Here in NZ a lot of Chinese takeaways are also fish & chips shops but nobody I know orders fish & chips and Chinese at the same time. You order one or the other.
