Pomelo is so fucking good
>>
>>21771974
Can't argue with that, just annoying to peel.

I loved eating it with my grandma back in the day when I was younger.
Was a great time...
>>
>>21771974
your mom is so fucking good
>>
Is it bitter like grapefruit? Because grapefruit is the worst fruit I’ve ever had
>>
Don't agree, worst fruit I've ever had and I actually like bitter grapefruit. Too much pith, doesn't taste good.

It's now confirmed that keyboard thread spamming faggot lives in a third world shit hole. Din din tier garbage thread.
>>
>>21772052
only had one and it was bland as fuck, orange is way better
>>
>>21771974
that's the best looking sashimi I've ever seen
>>
Yeah it's pretty good but not worth the price where i live.

One pummelo is like $4 each. I could buy an entire bag of oranges or grapefruits for $5 instead.
>>
>>21772052
they are the same fruit
>>
>>21771974
Looks dumb

Pomelos are better: bigger, sweeter, and not as bitter.
Pomelo is the oldest citrus, grapefruits are derived from them.

Grapefruit = hybrid of orange and pomelo
Tangelo = hybrid of tangerine and pomelo

i bought a "pumelo" from trader joes because i thought it was different from a pomelo
it wasnt
>>
>>21771974
Is it something like salmon?
>>
>>21772052
All the bitterness is in the pith. If you take the time to peal them well, pomelo has no bitterness at all.
>>
>>21772612
yes. thats why they call it the salmon of the trees
>>
>>21771974
I'm going to pomelo your asshole
>>
It's alright if you want something citrusy to play with but it's not really that good and most of it is the peel.
>>
in SE Asia many people eat them with red peppers flakes on top

try it

They're really hit or miss here. The SEA monkeys show up minutes after delivery and ransack the ripe ones.
If I'm around at 2:45PM on a Tuesday to get a ripe pomelo or tangelo, yeah, they're pretty good. Worst case Ontario, I go for the uglifruit. We still have those.
