>>
>>21777215

>>
Thumbprint cookies with jam
>>

Mexican wedding cookies (“snowball cookies “) are the GOAT Christmas treat. Been using my grandma’s recipe for over 20 years. Only problem is my kitchen looks like the scene from Scarface afterwards kek.

Both. I love those suckers with preserves. Maybe hush puppies as well.
>>
>>21777215
we call 'em sniggies 'round these parts.
>>
>>21777552
>preserves
nobody uses this word.
stop being pretentious.
>>
>>21777767

Your ‘ggerdoodles are flat, you should have refrigerated the dough first
also (((they))) don’t want you to know this but “parchment paper” is plastic and you probably shouldn’t use it
>>
>>21777227
Ahh those are my second favorite, very cool that you have an old recipe to use!

>>21777552
I'm only familiar with the US version of hush puppies, savory corn-based things. Do you mind explaining what hush puppy cookies are to you?

>>21777767
Not to be obnoxious but preserves are different than jams in the US, but preserve is a common blanket term outside the US for jams, jellies, marmalades etc.
For that dudes reference, jam specifically would be best to use desu (preserves are chunkier)
>>
>>21777811
doubt it's plastic if it sill doesn't burn at 500°F

You aren't being obnoxious.you may have noticed, there are multiple cantankerous fattys with fatty liver disease on this board who for whatever reason relish being abrasive and acerbic,
preserves are indeed different from jams and jellies here in the states too, these lardass faggots just have to defecate from their mouths just to surmount their feelings of inferiority.
I'd say fingers, but that retard's lips clearly move as he hunts and pecks with his fat sausage fingers.

The secret is also not using 100% butter, but some portion of creamed shortening too, and they they can't flatten out as much.

more egg,(just one) would do the trick just fine, not saying your fix wouldn't work, but for those averse to Hydrogenated sneed oils, this is the wae.
Last year I made a simple 4 ingredient Ice cream base and added chopped sniggerdoodoos and apples in a sort of caramel compote as a "Ribbon"
Base:
1 pt. heavy whipping cream chilled
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. real vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark rum

It's the old standard chill everything in the freezer, then whip the cream until soft peaks, then fold in the evaporated milk as quick but gently as possible. put the mixing bowl back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, then fold in the cookie chunks, 2 or 3 chopped is enough, then put the mix into the final freezeing container. You can then swirl in the caramel apple with a choptick or just add it to each serving as desired.
Cover the top of the ice cream with plastic wrap then the cover if you are worried about ice crystals, then freeze for 8 hours.
Wa-La!

Final product...
*Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I used freshly grated nutmeg in the carmel apple mix, and the rum got dumped in to the cream while beating it ALLL the way in the beginning.
Keep the alcohol in the freezer for at least an hour, but longer doesn't hurt.

Usually it's Spritzes, kieflies,(https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/235921/hungarian-kiffles/) pecan tassies, sniggers, Ranger cookies, angel bars, and Russian tea cakes.
This year there won't be any because the family is so fractured.
I might just make some on my own, but I'm not terribly motivated to.
>>21777227
yeah, we always called them Russian tea cakes, but yeah,
>let me introduce you to my little fren'
>>
>>21777811
They're cookies, they're supposed to be flat they seem fine to me.
Perfectly soft inside and a slight crunch on the outside with the cinnomon sugar.

I also added grass fed flavorless whey powder, it took me forever to perfect the recipe, but this is it. They are better than store bought.
>>
>>21777430
I asked my grandma and she told me no.

Chef Johnson gingerschnapp cookies are a good one. Also thin mints with a shit load of mint extract on top of freeing them. Dangerously good, dangerously minty fresh.
