Tell me all the most specific details you remember about the best food you ever ate specifically in a mental/psychiatric hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility - not just a regular hospital, but a place for crazies/druggies.

I remember it clearly, I was relaxing in a soy bath- I needed one! when the chef came in and told Richard that in honour of his second birthday inside he could chose whatever he liked for dinner. Rich thought for a moment, and requested ptarmigan inside of suckling pig inside of deer inside of hippo, in the style of the ancient romans. We had to settle for rabbit inside of turkey, but the sauces were inspired and all in attendance declared it the most whimsical meal of the season!
>>21779004weird>>21777310yeah, we've had some interesting threads on this in the past
>>21777229You can order good hospital cafeteria food, but it helps to stick to hamburger patties as a baseline (and steamed vegetables).
They grilled on Saturdays. You can either have two burgers, two hot dogs, or one of each. I got two burgers.
>>21780795Anyone that got two hotdogs deserved to be committed just for that (also hope your doing well now)
>>21777229This psych inpatient place I was in one time randomly had this chef who I guess was just super bored and he was always trying random crazy shit and it was always good. He even did thai food one day. Wish I could remember more but I was zonked out on tons of meds at the time.
