Oddly enough they used to be somewhat reputable. I guess that was back when people were more accepting of hot dogs in general though.
I remember when those packs of Bar S were only 99¢ each. Also, those weenies just shrivel to half their size when you apply heat to them since they're mostly water. They also smell pretty bad. The pricier ones like Ball Park and even Farmer John have actual fat and don't smell nearly as bad. Nathan's have a shit load of grease, but taste miles better.
