I made a thread last week asking what you’d prefer. Now it’s my turn.

The Mac and cheese is $25 (remember to tip) and is a side. What would you like it on the side of?

NGTMI
Go Oscar Style if you get a steak
Iceberg and Crab Louis are their best salads
Go to Julep afterwards and send picks what what you get there. Assuming you are at the Houston location

Why do you go to a fancy restaurant and post pics here for morons like me to mock? It's incredibly rude to your dining companions to ignore them so you can take pics to phone post on a racist, incel, fast food and anime enjoyer forum. Do they know what you're doing or the kind of website you're posting on?
>>
>>21778661
What funny munny currency is that in? Because there's no fucking way that's US dollars.
>>
>>21778669
>he doesn't understand a la cart
>he thinks sides on a menu like this are tied to meals
you remind me of when they take all the hoodrats to a fancy restaurant in s4 of the wire and they all end up deeply uncomfortable and depressed from being out of their element
>>
>>21778698
You're a pretentious twat who doesn't even know what you're talking about.
>In restaurants, à la carte (/ɑː.lə.ˈkɑːrt/; French: [a la kaʁt], lit.'at the card')[1] is the practice of ordering individual dishes from a menu in a restaurant, as opposed to table d'hôte, where a set menu is offered.[2] It is an early 19th century loan from French meaning "according to the menu".[3][4]

>The individual dishes to be ordered may include side dishes, or the side dishes may be offered separately, in which case, they are also considered à la carte.

LOL they are ignoring OP because he's a fucking loser. why do you think he made this thread
>>
>>21778697
That's standard pricing for high end steakhouses in Houston and Dallas anon. And by high end restaurant standards most people wouldn't consider this particularly expensive (likely coming in somewhere between $120 - $200/person depending on if you bought alcohol and how much you drank). This is not especially expensive when you consider you can get to multiple restaurants where you should expect to spend $250+/pp before alcohol within 15 minutes of all of their locations...
You have to keep in mind both cities are crawling with people making NYC/SF-tier money but paying Texan housing costs. So a lot of money goes to eating out here.
>>
>>21778683

Best cheese?
For me it's the Brie.
In my nordic country we don't really experiment with cheese, but Brie fits everything, from bread spread to homemade pizza, that divine yet stingy taste it has is legendary. Shame it's so expensive and rare...
I think soft cheese is far better than mozzarella and limburger cheese, especially for dining.

was it worth the price to you?

Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
>>

I kind of agree...maybe the issue is the cocktail prices, might have been more fun sloshed and delicious with a bottle of good red. Did the food look hot and sizzlin' to you?
>>
>>21778911
THANK YOU! glad someone agrees.

it looks like OP went to fuckin Cheddars or some shit and they pulled his pants down while they fucked his wife in front of him

That is not a nice restaurant. It's overpriced garbage. Jeff Ruby's is where I had reservations for tonight, as recommended by Mr. Flavor-town himself. I'm not one of the sophisticated ones snapping pictures of my meals, so I can't show you my steak, it was however delicious and well worth it.

Your bill was barely $600 and you bought dogshit from the menu. If money was no object you'd get the japanese wagyu. Stop trying to show off because no one here is impressed
>>
>poors immediately yapping
lol
>>
>>21778950
Kek B&B does position itself as a nice restaurant. The service and pricing puts it in that category for sure, even though you as you can tell by OPs photos the food itself is mediocre. Still a step above Cheddars though.
Benjamin Berg's restaurants are all like that. Every time he tries to actually cook something creative or interesting the restaurant closes in a year because he's a better marketer than he is a chef.
>>21779000
Anon if money was no issue BB is not the restaurant you would go to... Even if you were just trying to ostentatiously choose where to eat based on price it's not even close to the most expensive place in every market they have a location in.

I am just saying that sooner or later someone will get some nasty burns, like that girl in the turkish restaurant, burning liquid should never be in motion
>>
>>21779051
Just to let you know, I never wore a mask during Covid. I’ll also only trust competent American hands with pouring burning alcohol and not Turkish hands, but I do appreciate your safety tips and looking out for my well being, so I’ll probably be a bit more conscious next time I go get a fancy dessert. Thanks fren.

I tend to agree with some of these sentiments. The only reason that I picked this place was due to them having Prime Rib on the menu and their was better than Texas Roadhouse’s but I feel that price wise it’s not as good. Their beef Wellington was pretty good and I don’t see that on too many menus.

My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and our frens went for crab cakes and steak Ala berg. They enjoyed the cocktails a lot and I think they might have found something to make off of there, so we will see.

Reminds me of the time me and some lads went to a gentrified place in Chinatown and the large meals "for sharing" were the size of the grey pots
Food tasted fine and was 1/3 the price of this bullshit so it wasn't a bad evening even if they went to maccas after for actual sustenance

What is so unbelievable about those prices? Its not a restaurant most people go to every day, but it's on the low end of expensive for the US. Esp in places like Texas where people have more money than sense.
>>
>>21779268
Pretty much
>>
