I bought a bottle of this stuff several years ago, I use a few splashes of it semi-regularly in soups and stews, but now that I've checked the bottle is still half full.

there's nothing on the label saying that you should keep it in the fridge after opening, like in many other products. Being very salty, it probably keeps at room temperature with no problems, but storing it in the fridge won't hurt.
I just poured a few drops on my tongue and it tastes as usual.

Check the label, where is it made? In the USA market, that Maggi MSG sauce is manufactured in China. There are easier and safer ways to get MSG, my friend. You might also consider avoiding the Maggi Indian noodles with lead contamination.

I'm pretty sure my fish sauce expired in 2020. People forget some of these things are fermented for years before they're even bottled. Anything that is pushing 1000mg of sodium per teaspoon does not expire.
