I'm shitscared of aflatoxins but keep seeing this.
youll be fine you're not gonna get the big C from some nuts
is this your photo? these are completely fine
>>21780703Those are just normal walnuts OP. Stop watching so much Chubby Emu.
>>21780825>is this your photo?Yes. I centered the ones that worry me. You can see how much darker they are from the ones on top and below.
>>21780916that's normal though, this is neither fungus nor mold
>>21780703>be me >little kid at my grandmas>pick up wallnuts on the ground and look for some where the green fuzz is starting to come off>smash open with a rock>consume thy nut>do this for years with nothing happeningYou're fine anon.
>>21780703what do you mean core? like if you split it in half it's black all the way through? if so then discard those because they've rotted, but if you just mean the walnut skin, then that can simply vary in color and it has nothing to do with mold.
No. Any mold from walnuts will be white. And even that isn't very dangerous. If it's dry, it's fine. If it's wet mush throw away.
>>21781586By core I meant the center of the inside of the half; I don't know the proper term for it.Your image helps; thanks.
>>21781751What spooked me was this image on the lower left, since the aflatoxin appears black there. I know these are almonds, but I couldn't (and can't) find any pictures of walnuts with aflatoxin for reference.
