We do things a little different here in Cincinnati.
>>21782399Honestly I'm surprised you guys haven't turned that shit into a pizza already.
midwest sucks so fucking hard its unbelievable
>>21782409Tell me about it.
>>21782441
>>21782399This has always intrigued me but the noodles... the noodles look like shitty slimy udon tubes.
>>21782403they have
>>21782399The heat from the chili melts the cheese.
>>21782533Then why isn't the cheese melted?
>>21782536it's mild chili.
>>21782399what's the deal with all the shredded carrots?
>>21782632carrots don't bend like that.
>>21782441Here, let me share with you the food of my people
>>21782453It's just a thicker spaghetti, cooked a little farther than is "cool" these days. Skyline uses a... paste?... that they mix into the pasta. I think it's close to the same spicing that's in the chili. If the noodles are your issue, you're worried about nothing.>>21782403It's definitely been done, they do a mashup with LaRosa's (local pizza chain) on a fairly regular basis.
>>21782536the heat from the chili melts the cheese, but the mildness from the chili solidifies the cheese.
>>21782697(citation needed)
>>21782399created by someone who eats shredded cheese by the pinch from the bag
>>21782399it’s so dark it’s like The Sludge
>>21782399I tried Skyline recently and really liked it. I didn't get the fucking spaghetti though. That just doesn't sound good to me. I had some coneys with habanero cheddar and plate of chili cheese fries.

>>21782441tater tot casserole is awesome
>>21782409>>21782441Pfft, we have the best slop hands down. No one does slop better than us. You know, I said, I really want a slinger, so I went to St. Louis and I got that slinger. It was a great slinger.
At least sautee the the onions.. unless they're pickled.
>>21782918it's hot dish.
>>21782403I quite often use cincinatti chilli as a base sauce in pizza.
>>21783928There's cooked onions in the chilli and you get raw ones on top.
>>21782511>hot dog and mustard on pizza
>>21783928nah trust me its better with the raw onions though it will make your house smell and everyone around will hate you for it but its worth it

>>21782399>differentThat's a weird way to spell "absolutely fucking disgusting."
>>21782399I know this is a regional thing, but just never ever in the mood for it. That little hint of greek diner influenced cinnamon is only okay in small quantities on a rare occasion. If I walk into a restaurant that serves chili this way, I think I would opt for a chili dog, chili baked potato, or simple bowl of chili with toppings. When living in Northern Virgina, I totally enjoyed getting the various chili offerings at Hard Times Cafe. Terlingua red was my favorite recipe there. I could easily have dined there once a week.
American culture revolves around making inane inedible combinations of shitty HFCS filled food, branding it Incestville style and then spamming 4chan with daily threads about how they they do it little differently in Incestville, Tennessee.
>>21784025hot dish is not a term used in within the state lines of michigan
>>21782409based as fuck
Out here in Altoona, we like to think our pizza is a little slice of magic.
>>21782722I highly recommend the Chiritos. I wanna try Skyline again but Ohio is such a drab state to visit much of the time
>>21785047Hey, why did you bring your pedo puppet to the restaraunt
>>21785047Hey, why did you bring her, chili is way too hot for her
>>21785076Off topic posting isn't looked on kindly on this board, please keep your posts about food and cooking thanks.
>>21785076Weren’t any issues bringing Cirno into the Air Force museum nearby, so there weren’t any at Skyline. My waiter had a Miku pin on his apron which we talked about.>>21785081 I didn’t have her eat any don’t worry
