Why don't you have a Peugeot Pepper and Salt mill /ck/? Are you poor or something?
>>
I have Porsche mills.

(You) are a gay faggot with a dildo fetish.

>sees dildos everywhere
you were raped as a child.
>>

Those cabinets don’t look particularly expensive for you to be leveling poorfag accusations anon
>>
switched to an electric pepper mill. I'm not cranking that shit 130 times to get a tablespoon of pepper.
>>
>>21783071
I have a peugeot pepper mill but I use a salt box because I'm not seeing the point of "freshly cracked salt"
>>
>>21783071
i do. i stupidly bought the 5 inch ones though. they're so tiny and i don't really want to get bigger ones because the small ones were already fucking $100
>>
>>21783147
Hey man, 5 inches is plenty big.
>>
>>21783137
Same here. Not only is the salt mill pointless, it's simply the worst way to salt shit.
The Peugeot pepper mill is great though. 30cm is significantly better than 22cm, I've used both for like 3 weeks before I returned the other one

here's my Peugeot pepper mill on the right. I think it's the very first 'U Select model from 20 or more years ago.
I also own a Peugeot salt mill from the same series, but it works like crap. Ironically, the cheap acrylic one in the photo works (slightly) better.
>>21783137
the point of a salt mill is that you can adjust the coarseness of the salt at will. Like, in my country I can't find kosher salt, but I can make something very similar using a salt mill.

Not only do I have two but they're likely older than you are. I bought them both in the autumn of 2000.

what's the point of those giant pepper mills anyway?
sure, they can store a lot more pepper than the normal ones, but is it worth it to buy something so bulky and expensive just for that? I think the Peugeot ones are like a thousand bucks each.

mmm
>>
>>21783223
We're not talking about that giant but the 30cm is much better than the 22cm. I don't know how it works but it's much smoother and more precise, it feels much better too in your hands despite the size. I didn't think it would be like that because I'd much rather have a small compact one but they're really shit in comparison
>>

they’re $60 and i lost my last 2 pepper mills before they wore out. I’m sure for someone more responsible its smart to get these
>>
>>21783392
How do you lose 2 pepper mills?
Meth?

The unicorn pepper mill is the best there is. I dont care what anyone has to say to the contrary.
>>
This is my choice. Anyone else have one?
>>
>>21783414
>plastic
yikes.
>>
>>21783071
I own a Peugeot pepper mill and it kinda sucks. It could ground finer and sometimes it doesn't grind at all and you have to shake it all the time. For a grinder in that size the pepper shouldn't keep stucking all the time.
>>
Why would I need that?
>>
>>21783071
People who decant stuff already in perfectly appropriate containers are insufferable cunts
>>
I bought one and desu it's not that good. The logos and markings wore off and the top tightens by itself and needs to be adjusted fairly regularly.

>>21783820
I also have to shake the corns into place often.
>>
>>21783100
the newer, black ones?
because they're very underwhelming imo

Is everyone getting these new really simple captchas or just me?
>>
>>21783071
Well actual yes, I am a bit short on cash right now
>>
I actually have ones, though shorter ones.

They're kinda shit to be honest. One dropped and the wood cracked.
They're also way more coarse than I prefer.
>>
>>21783988
Just now, as I posted this very message. Happy Hanukkah, hermano
>>
i understand the purpose of a pepper mill is to crack open pepper corns and release the oils but what's the point of a salt mill?
>>
>>21784041
In his thread on /pol/ OP was talking about using Himalayan pink salt in the salt-grinder. That stuff comes in random-sized chunks and needs to be broken up further.

I don't understand why anyone would use that shit, it's literally rock dust and other dirt in the salt that gives the HPS its color. Dissolve some in water and you end up with a bunch of grit at the bottom of the pan or cup or glass or whatever you used.
>>
>>21783071
i have 1 theyre shit. oxo ones are better
>>
>>21783071
>mill for salt
no thanks
>>

>the point of a salt mill is that you can adjust the coarseness of the salt at will. Like, in my country I can't find kosher salt, but I can make something very similar using a salt mill.
indeed, and I use mine on finest setting for popcorn night. Coarse for rubs or pretzels. I like a salt mill.

My mills are Ol' Thompson, what is this Peugot nonsense??
>>
>>21784041
>what's the point of a salt mill?
None. Just buy a fine and a coarse salt.
>>
>>21783263
>30cm is much better than the 22cm
>it feels much better too in your hands
right anon, I am sure it does
>>
I use a manual coffee grinder. 2 rotations and I get heaping teaspoon of pepper
>>
>>21783071
Those are IKEA cabinets. I can tell because I have the same.
>>
Because I put my salt in a Badia pepper shaker, to go along with my Badia pepper that's already in the Badia pepper shaker it came in

Some plastic screw holder inside turned into crumble
It's a fucking scam
