I just got exploded on by the exploding coffee dickheads
I don't even know what I am looking at
first time i ever saw one of these pod machines was in a hotel and i put the pod in and pulled the lever and it started vibrating and making noise but no coffee was coming out so i chickened out and shut it off. every time i remember that it made me feel like a pussy, it's a relief to see i was right to shut it off as it really could have exploded
>>21790802uh oh stinky!
>>21790804it's some kind of dentist style coffee maker that exploded when I followed the instructions. if it belonged to me I would have thrown the piece of junk in the trash straight away
>>21790813well not so fast because it was unplugged when it exploded. It built up pressure around the pod because I guess they're still figuring out how to redirect it into the cup.and of course unplugging it didn't reduce the pressure.you would have had to wait hours for it to cool off I think
>>21790816>dentist styleWhat?
Seems to happen a lot.
>>21790816it failed to puncture the capsule and started to cook it or what?
>>21790887op why are you like this, do 20 push ups
>>21790964water got inside of it through the hole it punctured but couldn't get back out. they need to put a hole in the bottom which would let the water flow through and down into the cup>>21790965>noo it has to be a photo you took of the thing that happened in the story>using an existing image of the exact same thing that looks identical simply won't cut it
>>21790802I don't understand why people like that stuff in the cups that causes so much disposable waste.
>>21790976>it was real in my mind
>>21790984my only option right now. I'm house sitting for the weekend and can't leave to buy coffee or else the animals will tear each other to ribbons.Trust me, I'd be using something like a drip machine or pour over that behaves a little more predictably if I could
>>21790990you want my geo tag in the meta data because you're obsessed with me
>>21790976so next time take a photo of your own when something explodes, now you look like another bored spammer that is just making things up
>>21790999>It was my imagination, and in my mind, I believed it. Even now, I believe it.
>>21790984It started out as a convenience thing for white collar office settings, one pod = one mug in seconds, then retards wanted them in their house and now they buy boxes of k-cups every week and the coffee aisle in every store is optimized for high margin convenience trash like pods and ground burnt garbage and not whole bean.
OP update. So I just went to wash my clothes in the washer here and it's constantly beeping, shows drainage error, full of water and the door won't open. what the fuck is wrong with these appliances
>>21791238update again the filter was clogged full of hair and coins. personally, I don't see a good reason to filter outgoing water. imagine the clogs we'd get if our toilets had filters.that's what happens when you get a cell phone company to make washing machines. So I had to drain the water out manually to access the filter. I guess the clog was so bad that the water I drained out was stuff that had taken days to drip through that filter.Because the hose was not draining any more water, I thought I was okay to take out the filter. as soon as I do, about a gallon of water spills out from behind it and onto the carpet. (yes these people have their washer on carpet)So in order to be able to access the spill, I need to move the washer fully out of its own footprint and past the edge of the water. The issue here is that the house is so jammed full of crap it's going to be an all day affair moving and tetris-ing junk to make room for both the washer and the exposed wet carpet. and it fucking stinks like rancid piss.To pivot back into food territory: I'm going to have spaghetti for lunch after I clear off the stovetop
>>21791354Filters exist for outgoing water on clothes washers because washers usually only outlet to 2" or 3" drains, unlike the much larger ones for toilets. And unlike most other drains, clothes washer drains are usually closed and not serviceable. You can plunge or snake a toilet. You can't do that with the drain for your clothes washer.
>posts fecal matterclean it up janny
>>217909994chan strips exif data from pics upon upload, and has done so for many years. Please go back immediately, newfag.
>>21790802sploded
>>21790887Kek lmao
>>21792945tried it again this morning, this time cutting my own hole in the bottom of the pod.Sure enough, it functioned as expected. So all they really need to do to fix their design is to put a second punch where the bottom of the pod sits. There's already one for the top, which is where I got the idea.By adding an outlet for the water to exit, you get movement of water through the pod instead of a pressure buildup leading to explosion
we got a real Einstein here boys
The Morning Jew
>>21790883>his dentist office doesn't have a pod coffee machine in the lobbykinda weird anyway, like why am I gonna stain my teeth with that shit, either before or after getting them cleaned?
>>21790802Use a insulated coffee press like a non 3rd wordler
>>21793259I really like the elegant and non exploding design of those. I'd be using one if I was at home, but I have one more morning to go here.I think I'll just get a monster in the morning because the coffee from that machine sucked and got me really sick from the mold inside it.
>>21792999No, anon. It's funny because it clearly only happened once. Oh but I guess you're just being retarded on purpose
>>21793842excuse me?
>>21790802Lol! Faggot got bukkakked by microplastics!
>>21792999Why don't you just insert the pod twice? First time, then rotate 180 degrees, then again?
>>21794215that is a really swell idea. I won't be testing it out anytime soon, because I'm back at my own house finally.
