Had one in our garden as a child. Probably the best tree to plant if you're not a child or a woman.

They're cheap as far as saplings go and pay for themselves inside 6 months of regular cooking.

laurel wreaths have been iconic since the greeks. people just completely overlook that said wreaths/crowns are literally bay leaves
it is weird how hard they can be to buy fresh compared to any other herb for some reason though

>no one has ever seena bay tree.
This isn't remotely true. Not least because bay leaves come from a shrub.
>>
>>21791036
*does nothing*
>>
>>21791221
thanks for your input biology misunderstander, but many (most, frankly) evergreen and deciduous plants can be both trees and shrubs, the bay laurel is one such example
>>
>>21791039
In the autumn when the leaves fall do you run around catching them in a big pot of spaghetti sauce?
>>
>>21791930
its a persistent tree, some leaves fall during all year but all stays in winter. But you must collect them while on the tree and dry them at home.
