What are your favorite desserts?

I agree Turkish delight is overrated.

Creamy desserts like Gelato and Frozen yogurt are top tier for me.
>>
>>21795004
I'm sure that story actually happened.
>>
If you are not a woman or a child I don't know why you would care about dessert
>>
See >>21795012 but I'll always go for a scoop of vanilla or pistachio ice cream
>>
Red Velvet Cake and Key Lime Pie are my go-tos. Though I do like cheesecake, too.
>>

its actually persian at least since 1500 AD

Many times. Narnia has been read to many generations.

hunter-gatherers who are typically healthier than the average person in developed countries eat honey regularly and say it's their favorite food

Use capitalization and punctuation if you're going to fabricate lies.

There exist no hunter/gatherers in modern times. And if they did exist they wouldn't grant interviews about their favorite gathered desserts.
You fucking retard.

sleep is dessert.

because sleep is good.

There are remote tribes in Africa and the Amazon that live hunter gatherer lifestyles and anthropologists do interview them. The African tribes do love honey and sweet fruits
>>
>>21795009
>blue check
I don't even know if these people even exist
>>

Most of them also love coca-cola. I'm not sure there are any pure ones left except maybe in the amazon.

avoiding sugar doesn't make you manly

what else would you consider it if you just eat a bunch of honey by itself?
>>
>>21795364
Not hunters. Not gatherers. They are worthless scavenger trash. Vermin. Carrion. Parasites.

Except they are even less than those creatures because they only generate more waste instead of cleaning up existing waste.

They are literally WORSE than parasites.
>>

I think everyone who read Narnia then tried Turkish delights had the same reaction. I got some nice ones as a present, with nuts, rose petals, and honey and they still weren't worth betraying family and God.
>>
>>21795012
Sugar is fine for you in moderation. Half of this board consists of alcoholics. That's what is making you retards fat not the occasional snickers.
>>
>>21795004
The rose flavored ones suck, but the walnut ones are pretty good
>>
>>21795004
If I were to betray everything good in the world for a dessert, it would have to be a really good tiramisu or the world's best baklava
but let's be real Ed did it for the /ss/ white witch pussy
>>
>>21795012
I know so many men that like sweets, get over it faggot

Italian Ice is good stuff.

I've read all 7 books of the Narniad, I regard them as the modern fairy tale par excellence. Been meaning to try Turkish Delight, but no matter how good it is, there's no way it justifies treason, as other anons said. Although tbf the Turkish Delight in the books was probably enchanted and had narcotic qualities.

Aplets & Cotlets are better than every imported Turkish delight I've tried. I have a hard time passing through Cashmere without stopping at the factory store.
That being said, it's hard to beat fruit pie with vanilla ice cream.
>>
key lime pie
one time bought one of those fake limes you squeeze for juice, it was the only one in the store
turns out they also make fake key limes, it was terrible, don't know why key lime pie is so good.
>>
Sticky Toffee Pudding. I eat it once a year at christmas and I would get into a fistfight over it being denied.

Close second is Apple Pie but that's a thanksgiving dessert.

I just don't understand people who want a floral flavored candy. It tastes like I'm eating grandma perfume.

I like Bolo de Bolacha. My Portuguese stepgrandma makes it for my birthday. It's tea biscuits stacked with something similar to buttercream frosting in between each layer. Sometimes chocolate, sometimes vanilla. Pour coffee over all of it. Frost the outside with that same frosting, and top with crushed nuts or coconut shavings. I like both.
It's similar to tiramisu, but without the mascarpone.

>I just don't understand people who want a floral flavored candy. It tastes like I'm eating grandma perfume.
i think that's more of an issue with associated bad memories of tasting perfume which is unpleasant. i like violet and rose flavored things quite a lot and don't really associate them with perfume.

I really never understood the association of homos with flowers. flowers are soft, smell nice, pretty, like a woman. gays are more often smelly, rough, not pretty.

I'm sure if you open X (formerly Twitter) and press Ctrl-Alt-F8 it will automatically generate a post about Turkish delight and how Edmund betrayed his family for it.
>>
>>21795009
I was there, I clapped!

Turkish delight is okay, probably depends heavily on the quality of the confectioner.

My fifth grade teacher got delight for everyone in the class when we read that and it was the most amazing candy I have ever had.
I've tried it since and its only been disappointing, bitter, and tough. No idea where in the hell she got those.

I had the same reaction as a child. However, the pistachio with fruit or whatever Turkish delight is quite good. The rose shit is awful
