Auntie Annes is better than Wetzels Pretzels
What kind of sauce is that? Sorry, I've never had a real pretzel before.

>>21795169back when I was a kid our local mall (which I thought was a gigantic exciting cathedral of shops and food and people, even though it was only a ground floor mall, and basically just a long corridor of tiny shops with a Sears on one end and Caldor on the other), had a standalone kiosk near the entrance called Swiss Pretzel which for some reason was the most exciting thing to me. On rare occasion my mother would buy me a standard salted pretzel (literally this is all they served) and to this day those are the best pretzels I'll ever eat. This was like 15 or more years before Onty Annys or the like were even known to us[image lost in the 1980s]

A proper Brezel has soft thick and crunchy thin parts, should be cracked and be properly dark. Does that stuff even have lye?
